[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

[ He might not fit the dress code

Admittedly, part of it is not really knowing what the dress code was. But he still came here regardless, to check it out. See what the drinks were, see the dancing, and most importantly, get a feel for the vibe and the decor. This is definitely an effort to make this place feel more urban, and if it can be sustained he will probably become a regular here for hanging out. Most of the night, he's running solo - looking for girls to dance with or chat up, or maybe a few guys too. Also dancing, of course, and maybe hanging out at the bar some once he notices who the bartender is.

Some of the night though, a Pikachu might be beside him or on his shoulder. Yes, she doesn't go with the decor, but she didn't want to hang out at home, even if the music is a bit loud for her here. So the times when she is out of the ball, he's hanging out with her at a mercifully claimed spot at one of the tables. Maybe he even had to slide into your table abruptly and try to charm his way in.

Either way, he's here all night. He had nowhere else to be. And a the night gets longer, he gets more tired, things might get awkward. Who knows ]

[ The bass is loud and the lights are flashing, but it's really nothing on the Capitol. Still, there's enough of an echo of that hedonism to make Johanna uneasy. But hey, life in Luceti has been dull so far (minus the worrying gap in her memory from last weekend) and spending another night in the apartment with Peeta isn't exactly family funtime. Why not, she figured. ]

[ She slides into a chair, the legs scraping across the floor, not really caring who else is at the table. She's had a couple of drinks and there's a bottle in her hand, but her expression is alert enough. Maybe alert isn't the right word -- more like a hollow-eyed intensity thrown into relief by the purple lighting. The look of someone who doesn't sleep very much. ]

Kind of a boring party.

[ Oh, that voice stands out. Okay not really, but it does feel familiar, and it's really when he glances over at her and catches sight of her eyes he somehow knows exactly who this is despite only having had heard her. Hah. His lips curl into a little bit of a wider smile and:]

Maybe it's just how long I've been here, but this is a stand out for me. Not to say I can't think of a few improvements, though.

[ She recognises his voice too after a moment, and turns her head to give him a look. Oh, just her luck. ]

Yeah? How much more fun do you think things will get if I punch you in the face?

[ More idle speculation than actual threat. She intends to finish her drinking before getting kicked out, at least. ]

That depends entirely on if I hit back, probably. I can see it being a seven out of ten without it, and a barfight if I do.

[ With both his eyebrows shooting up high ]

[ She considers that as if it's a serious proposition. ]

A barfight doesn't sound like a bad idea.

[ Hah. ] I'm not into the idea of hitting women, but if it'll score me some points with you, then i'm all for it. Alternatively, we can just find some douche who we're both okay with conking.

[axed]

[ She sneers at him. ]

Kinky.

I try.

[ He just won't quit, will he. Reminds her of Finnick -- Finnick with his mask on. She takes a gulp of her drink. ]

Twenty minutes. If things don't get more interesting in twenty minutes we can brawl it out.

[generalflirt]

Sweet.

[ He rolls his shoulders at that, smiling still. He's been smiling the whole conversation, and it hasn't really wavered. It also hasn't entirely met his eyes the whole time. But now he glances over at the bar ]

I guess I should get another drink then.

[axed]

[ Her smile looked like it should've been worn by someone with sharpened teeth, filed to a point like some of the Careers used to wear theirs. ]

Please, go ahead.

[ Spooky.

... No really, it's legitimately spooky. But really, he will follow the suggestion and go and collect himself a drink - specifically some sort of peach flavored cocktail. And he'll be right back ]

[At some point in the evening, Jean is refreshing herself at the bar. Leaning against the counter, waiting to get the attention of the current bar tender, she spots a familiar face. With a smirk, she gives him a half wave. Hello, there!]

[ Ooooooh snap. Okay, there we go. Following a challenge that he got, he's here to try to impress. And thus, he saunters up to Jean, slides into the chair next to her, and flips his hair back, which results also in flipping the hoodie off his head ]

Well fancy seeing you here!

Fancy, indeed. I can see you really went all out on your dance attire. [She teases him lightly.] Having fun?

Well, it is my new debut for the new nightlife here. So... I'd have to say I am.

Glad to hear it. [She chuckles.] What all have you been up to? We haven't had much of a chance to hang out, since our game. Which, if I recall correctly, I won, and you now owe me a Truth.

[generalflirt]

Oh, well, if that's the case, lay it on me. My bad for not getting to it yet.

[ And he waves a hand dismissively about the rest of that, smiling ]

I haven't decided yet. [She waggles a finger at him, playfully.] I'm not wasting a Truth so easily. I just wanted to remind you I still had it.

Hey, hey. Fair beans from me. But that just means that the two of us are going to be entwined for the future.

[ And he ends up linking two of his fingers on opposite hands. For a link ]

Oohh hoh, entwined? [She grins at him.] I can think of worse things.

Oh, I'd go further into the area of I could think of few better things, personally.

[She laughs.] Well, aren't you the optimist! ... I like that.

Hey, when it comes to being beside a beautiful woman, I like to think that possibilities are endless.
