[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

Beer. Anything's fine.

[Beer it is. Ginia leaves and returns a few minutes later with a chilled mug and a bottle of beer. She pops the cap off on the edge of the table and pockets the cap, letting him decide if he wants to drink out of the bottle or pour it into the mug.]

Thanks. [Since she went through the trouble of bringing a mug to him, he'll make use of it. He waits a moment for the head to go down before trying a long sip.]

Ah... Much better than the watered-down horse piss they gave to us as trainees.

[Glad it has his approval. Ginia sinks back into her chair, relaxing a little and glad to be off her feet for a bit.]

Made sure to get you some of the good stuff. Though to be honest, I'm not a beer person myself and it all tastes like piss to me.

[wipesfaith]

[He snorts.] You must have tasted some damn good piss, then.

[He'll try one of the mozzarella sticks now, followed by another swig of beer.]

Had some damn interesting drinks in my life, that's for sure. Ever hear of snake wine?

[wipesfaith]

Snake wine? It's not made from actual snakes, is it?

There's two versions. First version involves putting a snake in a bottle of rice wine and letting it steep for months. The second version is fresh snake blood or bile mixed with wine that you drink as a shot.

[wipesfaith]

...You're kinda scary, you know that?

[Ginia grins. She'll take that as a compliment.]

Only had the one shot. Still not sure if it was a local tradition or a friend playing a joke on me.

Sounds a little extreme for a joke.

[He hesitates before reaching for another mozzarella stick. No sauce this time.]

As the saying goes, with friends like these, who needs enemies?

[But man were hunters a strange and odd bunch. The best of times and worst of times.

Ginia steals a mozzarella stick. Nom nom.]

[A quiet heh.] Yeah, I've got a few of those.

And for all the hell they put me through, I wouldn't trade them for anyone or anything.

[She grabs some fries as she adds on another message.]

If things stay the same, we're due for few arrivals soon. Anyone I should keep an eye out for?

[wipesfaith]

[A short nod. He reaches into his coat, which he'd thrown next to him in the booth, pulling his journal and a pen out. Tearing a page out, he writes down the following names:]

Mikasa Ackerman
Eren Yeager
Armin Arlert
Connie Springer
Sasha Blaus
Christa Lenz

[Then he pauses, and in a separate chunk he'll write:]

Annie Leonhart
Reiner Braun
Bertolt Hoover

[And he slides the page toward her.]

[There's a hell of a list. Ginia looks over the names, committing them to memory.

At the three separate names at the bottom, Ginia takes the pen and circles them, then adds a question mark next to them. She's already heard of the names from Levi, but she's curious what Jean's perspective is. And maybe get a little more information.]

[wipesfaith]

[He takes the pen back, and just outside the circle he adds:]

Traitors. [Quick, sharp strokes. He looks up when he turns the paper back to her]

Graduated with all of them.

[whiskytraitorfirefight]

[Traitors. That fills in a little more of the puzzle.]

If I see teenagers wearing the same uniform wandering around, I'll give you a heads up.

Thanks. [His friends, his comrades...he's not sure if he wants to see them here or not. A part of him can't help but hope for more familiar faces, can't help but argue that here is better than there in many ways; another part of him knows they're all bound to their own world. The last three...he doesn't want to deal with them, but at the same time he wants answers, something like vindication.]

What about you? It's only fair if I return the favor. [Another swig of beer.]

[Ginia picks up the pen and twirls it in her fingers as she thinks. It's selfish wanting people here because she knows it's the only chance she'll ever be able to see anyone. But at the same time, Luceti is better than her world in a lot of ways and no different in others.]

[After some thought, she jots down a third name. She wouldn't be happy to see him, but if he shows up, better things get out of the way fast.]

[He finishes a few more fries as he glances down at the brief list.]

Friends of yours?

[Friends. hm. A weighty word. They were, but what they knew could change things too.]

Allies [She writes on the piece of paper. It's the easiest explanation she can give.

[wipesfaith]

[He can't tell if that's an addendum or a correction.]

Okay, got it. [Taking the piece of paper back, he carefully tears it in two - one list for her to refer to, one for him.]

[The answer is yes.

Ginia takes her half of the list, folds it, and tucks it into her pocket.]

I should get back to work soon. Want anything else? More food? Another beer?
