[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

Yeah. Especially during Winter. I think I was starting to go a little stir-crazy without even realizing it. [She chuckles to herself, taking a sip of her Shirley Temple.]

Mmm. [That drink looked good. She caught the bartender's attention.] Just a water, please. [And then turned back to Jean.] Maybe you should try an' find something to keep busy. Did you ever talk to Raine about the school? Or try learning the different spirits?

Mmhmm, yeah. I'm finishing up high school. Which-- I'm relatively sure makes me some sort of a nerd, but I'm cool with it. There's so many worlds here, and so much to learn about them. [She sighs.] I wanted to try and get some sort of sports team going on, but it's been hard to organize. People who are interested keep getting sent home. I should probably angle for something less... organized, more free-form.

[touchofrogue]

[Rogue shrugged.] A lot of people do it.

[Kurt and Kitty had, all the times when they were here. She had never been interested in that kind of socializing, and had passed.]

Less organized seems ta be the way to go around here.

[She took the glass of water provided for her with thanks.]

Yeah, so I'm picking up. [She smiles at Rogue.] I don't suppose you'd be interested? [She didn't figure Rogue be the type, but she would always be welcome, if she wanted to join.]

Maybe. [She shrugged, taking another sip of her water.] Depends on the sport an' what day it is. Let me know if you need someone ta fill in a team.

I will definitely do that. [Jean has never gotten the feeling that Rogue's interested in being friends with her, which... is a little sad for Jean, because she would like to be friends. But she doesn't want to push Rogue into something that she's not interested in. Some people just aren't meant to mesh. ] It would be a lot of fun to spend more time with you.

[touchofrogue]

[...ugh, Jean. Can't you just leave a thing where it is?]

We do live in the same house.

Yeah, but I feel like I never see you.

[Nope. Not really! She'll circle around and see if the friendship!door is unlocked every other month or so.]

[She might find it unlocked if she stopped calling it the 'friendship!door.'

And Rogue had been spending more time at home since Storm had left, but with Scott there now she'd felt it a little less necessary.

And, well. She did work two jobs, train with Loki in the afternoons, have her private training in the morning, and then go over Loki's most nights after team practice. So Jean might have a point.]

I do manage ta keep busy. [It's said a little slowly.] But if ya ever want to come by the stables or the Item Shop, you know where I am.
