[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

[Taking long enough to read the new text, Remy then followed the path Ginia directed him to, taking note of what Kate looked like if he needed to approach her later.]

Remy, nice to meet ya. [Returning his gaze back to her, he offered a smile to her.] Mind me askin', how long ya been 'bout here?

[There's a small lopsided grin that comes with the message before she writes out a second one.]

[His grin reflected her own, before Remy answered.] Month 'fore ya. Feels longer.

Gotta ask, considerin' the mix we got 'bout this place, this place seem even remotely normal to ya? [Was worth asking, they had people who could fly, talking animals, gods, and a scattering of mutants on top.]

[Normal. There's a tough question. Ginia knows her own life was anything but normal, though Luceti gave it a whole never level of oddity. Wings, magic, being alive... it's far from normal.

Yet it's the little things here and there. Fresh bread from the bakery. The sun rising in the east and setting in the west. Electricity and indoor plumbing. Finding her favorite book at the library or brand of cereal at the grocery store.]

Personally, things are weird, but there's enough that makes it easy to roll with. The little things. Though what's normal for one person may be different for another.

[Was his life even remotely normal to begin with? In the grand scheme of things, possibly not. Yet this world was still able to throw things up in it that completely shocked him and left Remy wondering just what the hell was going to happen next.]

Kinda quiet in some ways, that not necessarily bein' a good thing. Mais ran into a lot of thin's here that I 'ssumed were myth or fairy tales. Takes some gettin' use to.

I guess that's why we have places like this; a taste of the familiar.

[For some at least. This could easily be strange for other people not used to dance clubs like HQ.]
