[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. ~~There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.~~

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

[Turning to see who was speaking to her - it's hard against the roar of the stereo and bass - and Perona's lips turn into small smile. There are very few who she treats with open kindness, but those she does she's sincere about it. This man, Peony, was among the very few. He did her a favor of working with her in getting some cute new clothes, so she owes him her gratitude for that.

Swirling her drink in her glass, Perona chuckles and pulls her teddy closer. He was her very special treasure now...based on a servant, and friend, she lost long ago. His keepsake, if you will.]

This is Bearsy. He accompanies me everywhere...and keeps my things guarded as well. [Meaning he's also kind of like her purse, what with the zipper pouch in his back.]

[Peony would be happy to know he was among the very few whom she gave any sincere smile to, but as it stood he didn't know. Yet as she was still a beautiful young lady greeting him with a smile, he gave her his own.

Then confidently took the seat beside her. He was still focused on the bear to some extent, though he'd be lying if he said neither the lady or the drink she held didn't have some intrigue.]

Ah, so it doubles as a coin purse, I take it? Smart~ [Of course he doesn't know for sure as he still hasn't seen the zipper in the back yet, but it's not hard to guess what with it being something he did as a kid to pass on "secret messages".]

[She smirks, and tips her glass to the compliment. It wasn't exactly her own design per say - Bearsy was designed after a dear servant she lost some time ago on the old ship she sailed on - but he doesn't need to know the more private details of how he came to be. Perona's never been one to diverge information about herself more than is necessary and not already known.]

That's right, though mainly he's just my companion. It's just lucky he's a good enough one that he'll gladly take care of my belongings for me as well. [Idly, she waves her hand to call a bartender over, and nods towards Peony. Go on, man, if you want a drink.]
