[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

[Again, she gives him a small smile. She appreciates his attempts at entertaining her, even if she knows by now that that's just a part of who Kurt is.

At his question, she pushes her glass forward.] Refill of the red?

[And he manages to wink and give a point of acknowledgement at her, doing his best impersonation of a sitcom bartender.]

You got it! Some vampire blood coming up! [And with the bottle in hand, he pours her glass.]

...don't even joke about that. [Because she wouldn't be surprised to find someone here that might actually want to order some sorta vampire blood drink made of real blood.] This is Luceti, after all.

You're right. And I already have the teeth for it. [He frowns as he hands her her glass.] Let's stick with a bottle of red, then.

You do?

[It's kind of one of those things that are hard to tell when he has that holograph on. She peers closer regardless.]

I never noticed.

[wildbluevagner]

[He gets a little flustered, smiling meekly.][He had forgotten that he already blew the truth about his image inducer to her.] So I don't have to look like the fuzzy vampire devil.

[tryit]

[She shrugs. His appearance isn't exactly something that matters much to her. Not to a girl that grew up secretly idolizing the Avengers and the other superheros in her world. So what if he looks like a blue fuzzy vampire devil? One of her best friends turns green more often than not.]

You know, I don't think the people here would care. They're not exactly the bigots you have back home.

That's what I keep hearing! And to be honest, I keep seeing it, too. [From basically everyone else who's seen his true form so far in this world.]

Still... it's not so easy to be safe. You'd be surprised at how many nice ones can change their tune when they see something like me. I just don't want to tempt fate, you know?

[She nods. She gets it. She's seen it happen too many times in her own world. Sometimes, it really sucks being nothing but an ordinary human. But at least she doesn't have to worry about half the discrimination others face on a daily basis.]

I get it. Still, it's got to suck to hide who you are.
