[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

Whoa--! [He gets pulled along for the ride, but to his credit, now that he's used to the room swaying back and forth, he's a lot steadier. And perhaps a bit less inhibited, too, once she gets him out onto the floor.]

... I don't know why you were sad ... but dancing always cheers me up!

[Wanda, as it turns out knows how to dance, moving through her hips, arms swimming through the arms, laughing lightly. Her powers flare up occasionally, her aura sparking, but it's hopefully contained to just a light show.]

[He's actually a little surprised that she didn't pick up on it, what with his drinking and everything. After all, he's Scott Summers. If he's not doing homework or training or telling his teammates to settle down, there's a distinct possibility he's upset by something.

Still, he just keeps on dancing, finding his movements a little freer than they'd been before. She looks... good. It's good to see her cutting loose and enjoying herself, that is.]

[Wanda is, unfortunately, really, really oblivious. She's also apparently learning all sorts of new things about Scott, so it's hard to get a base line. ]

No-one's ever said that before...!

[She still thinks he's fun. Of course she doesn't know him yet.]

Oh, I know how that feels. Or when someone tells me I'm right, she's saying it sarcastically.

But you're, like-- the leader of your team. ... You're so smart! [Assumably. Also,whoever says that to you is a Real Bitch, Scott. Srsly.] Shouldn't you be right like-- usually?

Oh, they follow my orders. But whenever we're not on a mission? Forget it. [He's still grooving to the music, even as he complains. Guess alcohol does have some benefits.] I mean, Kurt's always got my back. And so does Rogue.

[It's probably getting a little more obvious just who's grinding his gears right now.]

[Wanda also continues to groove along, nodding, sympathetically. She continues nodding for a moment, when all of a sudden she gets it and her eyes go wide.]

OOOOOHHHhhhhh. Oh my god, Yes! I know! Right?

[Ok, you got to the same page, Wanda, don't skip a head, now. ]

[He gets a little bolder with his moves, and while he might occasionally look a little goofy, at least he's not staying in his comfort zone.]

Hey, you know what? It doesn't matter. I'm just... gonna have a good time tonight.

[And spend his inevitable hangover in the Battle Dome, blasting holographic Cajuns enemies.]

[He might be mad at Jean, but he's still totally in love with her. Which he thinks is stupid. Love is stupid right now.]

Yeah, we should. That's a good idea.

[It's better than most of his ideas have been today.]
