Snow Fight!

Who: EVERYONE.
What: Snowball free-for-all.
When: February 25th, during the Harvest Moon Valentine's Event!
Where: The road and the area between Houses 16, 19, and 27
Summary: Who knows how it started, but there's a war being waged in the street- and you've just been tagged a few times by a snowball. Join in on the fun, seek revenge, or just try to get out of the fray! Maybe make a new friend or two, you never know what will happen with those Heart Meters!
Rating: S for snow.

It was a calm day until someone decided to be a little mischievous. But accidents do happen, and one snowball lead to another until a full out war started in the middle of the village. Everyone for themselves, pelting each other, dragging the poor passerby into the chaos with either a well aimed or not-so-well aimed snowball.

[The laughter is unsettling, but Andrew tries his best to look completely indifferent to it. He fails, in that his posture is more akin to a cornered animal than a cool and aloof super powered kid, but it can't be helped.

The guy was laughing at him.

He wants to yell at him to shut up as a lot of buried anger resurfaces, but before he can manage the words there's a powerful blast firing at his feet and snow spraying at him. He manages to redirect the snow to go around him instead of hitting him in his face, at least. Okay...give him a second to...recover from that.]

I'm still not scared of you. I'm...[stronger than you, except he manages to swallow back the instinctive urge to say that. Startled by his little familiar moment there, the intensity of his words lessen considerably as he goes back to sounding meek.] ...I'm powerful.

[Fuck this he doesn't know what he's doing. But in his mind, the only way to keep himself safe is to be powerful. But in a place like this? What if he was back to being a weakling, compared to everyone else? He couldn't let that show, though. That was dangerous.]

Sure you are, kid. You and everyone else here. Don't be so upset, it's not as if I'm going to kill you. But give me a reason to and I will, I promise you that.

[His hands go into the pockets of his jacket, looking pleased with himself.]

I haven't met too many humans who can pull off what you did, I will admit, but that's still nothing.

So will I.

[Yeah that's right, he said it. He's not quite sure how much he believes it anymore, but at least he sounds like he does.

That last comment only offends him. And maybe...really strikes a nerve, evidenced by the nasty look he gives Vegeta.]

It's not nothing.

Hahahaha, come now, you're getting pretty offended over snow, don't you think? [Knowing perfectly well that's not the case at all.]

That's not...[Ugh, way to make him feel stupid.] You're underestimating me.

[That's what his problem is.]

Am I? Do you hold the power to eliminate an entire planet at your fingertips?

[He leans forward a bit, staring back at Andrew.]

I didn't think so.

[Andrew's not sure if this is truth or an inflated ego talking, but either way he's a little unnerved.

No he does not, hold that kind of power. Way to rub it in! It's not as if he wants to destroy everything ever (anymore), but the more he stood here and listened to this guy the weaker he felt. He should walk away, right? But that would be defeating, wouldn't it?]

[Hide that uncertainty. Hide that anxiousness. Keep calm. Telling himself this enough times in his head helps him appear a little more confident than before.] I hold the power to crush people's skulls in seconds.

[...Which was, on some weird level he hasn't come to terms with yet, a lot more appealing to himself.]

It's as I said before. You and everyone else here, kid. Don't think that's going to impress. You're not just picking on anyone with a power level of ten anymore. [He shrugs. It makes no difference to him and he's making sure Andrew knows it too.]

Save all that boasting for the battlefield. [He looks over at the little war being waged behind them, head inclining toward it.] And I'm afraid this doesn't count.

[Oh my god he even rates power levels. There's a number for that kind of thing? What?

It's those last words when Andrew finally pays attention to his surroundings again. Oh yeah, the snowball war. The harmless, playful snowball war that he was...kind of enjoying. He can't help but feel mortified now, that he had allowed himself to go to such a dark place because of a couple of snowballs. What was wrong with him?

He looks back to Vegeta, clearly bothered. Well, he succeeded in upsetting the poor boy.]

Lucky for you. [Oh god that was a dumb thing to say. Stop trying to sound badass Andrew. But whatever, he's had enough of today, so he'll just start to lift himself off the ground.]

Oh, and watch out for that. [He points, and a large blanket of snow that had been coating a roof is now trying to coat Vegeta. Also watch out for some stray snowballs that are probably coming from another direction to hopefully distract him.

Though Andrew will be too busy flying away to see if it hit or not. He's just going to tell himself that he's getting the last hit, okay. His pride.]
