It wasn't until the day of the sixth that Vegeta finally had been able to get out of bed after a few days of a high fever, and his agenda today included making visits around town, to see a few people he knew. A monumental day for him, or rather, the parasite controlling him.

To everyone else, the week started as normal. But as the days go on, more and more fall to infection. People go missing, for a day at most, but they come back. And they too, are sick, but not for long. Some make their way to go work on something important, but no one knows what. But there is something amiss, and only the residents can save themselves from coming under control of this parasite.

[Her eyes go wide for a moment, her cheeks flushing scarlet and she looks away. Huh...what?! What?!?!

Was he seriously...asking for that?!?! After...Valentine's? And all that...and...she's engaged! And he's married?! The whole thing is just completely unbelievable, and she's stunned into silence...]

My, don't look so shocked. I'm not asking you to hop right into bed with me. Just something a bit further than what we have now would be nice. A nice slow start, you could say.

[He's still calm. Look at her face, she's blushing, it's cute.]

[She swallows, a bead of sweat trickling down her cheek. It's still way, way too much to process.]

What about Bulma? And...Yuuna? I'm engaged, and you're married.

[misterbrief]

Bulma has always been fond of you. And, well, I suppose you don't get to choose exactly who you become attracted to, now can you.

[He leans in a bit further now, but he's still not touching her.]

I've always wondered why you've been so attentive to me as well, maybe you can tell me more about that...

[Yes, Bulma liked her she knew. But...Bulma was also incredibly jealous. She knew that too. And Yuuna would hate it.

She makes no move to get closer, instead she's just staring off into space.]

Because you're a friend. I care about you that way. That's...all.

[It's not all, but she's not willing to admit that she's attracted to him. Not now, and probably not ever. Even if deep down she already knows it...it's not what she wants. And this is...wrong. He'd never, ever have said things like this normally. Even during Valentine's.]

Then why is it that you won't look at me when you say it?

[He lightly runs a finger down her arm, his voice sounding almost hurt.]

Because i-it's wrong and you s-s-should know better...

[Goosebumps form on her arm, and she shivers under his touch. It's...just...it's not right...]

[He smirks to himself quickly, reaching with his other hand that was previously resting on the back of the love seat to rest on her far shoulder, applying a very light pressure to either get her to lean into him or turn to face him, whatever came first. Either would work.]

When I leave this place I will never see you again, nor remember your existence. I'd rather not miss this opportunity.

[windandrain]

[She does turn to look at him now, shaking her head in consternation. That didn't sound like Vegeta at all.]

I don't think that'll happen. You know that. We've been here too long...

We don't get to choose, you know that as well as I. There are those who have been here longer than the two of us combined, and suddenly they disappeared as well. It's a shame, really.

[He leans in now, his other hand slowly reaching up to be softly placed on the side of her neck.]

[She doesn't move, nor does she respond. That was not something Vegeta would say. And it's starting to bother her, more and more. All of this was. As much as she wouldn't mind spending more time with him, being intimate was for people in love. And...she does doesn't feel that way about him. And she knows he doesn't feel that way about her.

Her lip quivers uselessly, and she's having difficulty even forming words she's so bothered by all this...]

[He's going to take advantage of this moment the best he can. With that hand on her neck, he uses his finger enhanced by a bit of his energy to make a quick, small, clean cut on her neck right as he leans in to kiss her on the mouth. In less than a blink of an eye his palm goes over the cut to seep some of that DNA into her, banking on her being too distracted by his kiss to realize what he's doing.]

MMMmmmm!!!!

[It's the only sound she can make, really, a surprised gasp of surprise and panic. The sensation of a finger making that quick little cut isn't lost on her, but it's not that that bothers her. The kiss...is just wrong! It's not at all what she wants yet and her eyes go wide. She pulls back, and realizing she can't go further back, she tries to push him away with all her might. A kiss right now is just the most inappropriate thing!]

[misterbrief]

[He feels himself getting shoved back, but he doesn't care anymore. The deed is done, and it's just a matter of time. He doesn't even look shocked, offended, or anything. Just happy he got what he wanted, after all. He doesn't even say anything to her. He doesn't really have much else to discuss now, but at least he'll do her the pleasure of not just leaving outright.

He does want to make her his Queen. She'll see, soon enough.]

[windandrain]

W-w-what?! How...how dare you?!

[She splutters, flying to her feet in a rage. The cut on her neck is already healing, and her body's nature is taking over and annihilating the pathogen.]

Who said you could kiss me, Vegeta?! What are you thinking?!

[misterbrief]

[He just smiles smugly back at her.]

You shouldn't be so angry. If anything you should feel honored.

[windandrain]

When you forced a kiss on me? No! It's wrong! What's gotten into you all of a sudden?!

[She is not smiling at all!]

[misterbrief]

[He stands up. He can tell his welcome is worn out.]

You'll see, in time. You're going to make a wonderful queen, just give it a little, it'll all become clear. But I see I've made you upset, so I'll just show myself out.

[windandrain]

Q-Q-Queen?! First you steal a kiss, and now you dare?!

[Her fury peaks now, a thunderstorm booming out over the castle, shaking it to it's foundation. Cold fury fills her to the core, the spirit inside battering at her mental barriers, demanding she answer the insult.]

I am a god, you arrogant, mortal worm! I will never be your queen! Get out! Get out before I destroy you!

[misterbrief]

[Her fury doesn't faze him, and he makes his way over to the edge of the roof with no hurry. He's keeping himself on high alert, already raising his power level enough to fight her if she decides to have a fit and attack him while he's leaving.

He smiles wickedly to himself, pleased. She'd be his slave by tomorrow, and all this would be forgotten. So he starts to float down to the ground from her rooftop.]

[windandrain]

[It's good that he does leave, because as he floats down a blast of lightning illuminates the entire rooftop. It's all she does, as once he's out of sight, she already begins to calm down.

She flops back down into the loveseat, holding her head in her hands. Confused, she thinks over the last thirty minutes or so, wondering just what'd gotten into him. None of it added up, and it was all just...wrong. So very, very wrong. How could he think a kiss was okay? And...why had she not just told him off to begin with? He was a friend...yes...but he wasn't that kind of friend. Was he?

She shuts that train of thought down quickly enough though. Of course he wasn't. And what was that business with queens? How could he think that was okay...? None of it was.

Rolling over, she buries her head in the cushion and just sobs. What was going on? How had that happened? And...what had the Malnosso done to him?

Either way...the DNA was already being utterly destroyed, picked apart the unnatural makeup of her body. Bebi was in for a rude surprise come tomorrow...]
