[They'd gotten separated somewhere along the way - not that Souji was surprised with how the fighting was going. Working their way into the city had been hard enough, but once inside, it was row after row of bodies, narrow spaces, and unyielding attacks. Souji had taken to running along rooftops when the area allowed it just to avoid getting boxed in amid the dead. He'd been counting the days and he knew today was the day that the others were going to have to find that bomb and destroy it or they'd all die again.
Unfortunately, that wasn't his field of expertise and so he had to stay behind, cause some noise, keep the cultists distracted from the main team, and try to stay alive.
