Zompania Draft: Coming Home
Who: Anyone drafted to Zompania, or recruited as reinforcements, or left behind in the village. SO. Everybody!
What: The draftees and reinforcements return to the village.
When: May 26, early early in the morning
Where: Back in Luceti
Summary: Most draftees and reinforcements return to Luceti in the very early hours; now, instead of a medevac site for the draft, the village is a welcome (?) refuge from the nightmare of Zompania for its own. There's a high likelihood it still looks a lot like it has in the past few days; those in the fight didn't even get a chance to shower before returning.
(This is the place for all your post-draft trauma and reunions and every other thing. Have fun! And don't forget to entry-tag your character.)

Yeah, it's been awhile since I worked that hard. Feel like I deserved a vacation now.
[ He relaxed as he felt his body respond to the magic, some of his fatigue fading, the deeper aches in his bones relenting so he didn't feel like a walking mass of pain. ]
You can stop, Grune. I can handle my own healing from here, and I'm sure a lot of others could use your help more than me.
no subject
Are you sure?
[Because he still looks hurt....]
no subject
Yeah. Believe it or not, I've handled worse. It looks bad, but you've helped a lot. I don't want to take up more than I need.
[ He shook his head, giving her a tired smile. ]
I just really want some rest right now, and maybe something to eat. And a shower. Do I smell terrible?
no subject
[She stops healing him, but then she hesitates for a different reason.]
I don't think you smell terrible. [But he doesn't smell very good, either.]
no subject
[ He looked at her and he gave her a rueful smile. ]
Thank you for sparing my feelings.
no subject
[She smiles back and totally doesn't get that she's just un-spared his feelings.]
Would you like something to eat?
no subject
Oh my god, yes!
[ He was ravenous, and he would pretty much just put anything in his mouth. That might not be the smartest move, but it was what his stomach demanded of him. ]
no subject
Well, I brought some cake. [She points back at her stand.] Would you like some of that?
no subject
Uh, maybe a little.
[ He wasn't sure stuffing sugar in his mouth was the best idea, but Grune was a nice lady and cake did sound nice. So just a little bit. Nothing much. Enough to get him back to the house without his stomach eating itself. ]
no subject
I made chocolate cake and spice cake. Which one do you like best?
no subject
Chocolate, please.
[ He follows her, glad that walking wasn't quite so painful. ]
no subject
[She sets off...but then she notices that there just isn't a bounce to his step today, and so she stops.]
Would you like some help?
no subject
[ There probably won't be a bounce for awhile, Grune. ]
No, I'm okay, just moving kind of slow. Kind of sore. Don't worry about it.
no subject
[Even if he says he doesn't need any help, she makes sure not to leave his side all the same.
Once they arrive at the table, she picks up her cake server and asks:] Which kind would you like?
[Grune, he just told you.]
no subject
Chocolate.
[ He doesn't mind repeating himself, it's actually... almost nice, because it makes him answer things instead of focusing on how his body still hurt or the things he had seen. ]
no subject
Good thing he isn't Spock.] There you go.no subject
[ He took it, though he knew just by looking at it he could never finish it. Still, he didn't want to make Grune upset, so he tucked int, albeit slowly, and savored the taste of the chocolate. ]
Did you make this, Grune?
no subject
Yes, that's right. I made the cakes so everyone could have something nice when they came back.
