Who: Anyone drafted to Zompania, or recruited as reinforcements, or left behind in the village. SO. Everybody!
What: The draftees and reinforcements return to the village.
When: May 26, early early in the morning
Where: Back in Luceti
Summary: Most draftees and reinforcements return to Luceti in the very early hours; now, instead of a medevac site for the draft, the village is a welcome (?) refuge from the nightmare of Zompania for its own. There's a high likelihood it still looks a lot like it has in the past few days; those in the fight didn't even get a chance to shower before returning.

Gold's speaking from experience. [Even if it feels like it was so long ago, Silver still remembers how Gold acted when he lost everyone.] You're not avoiding anyone or hiding away, but it's really easy to fall back onto that when you lose someone.

[Too easy. Far too easy.] We don't want you to be alone.

I'm not alone. I've got Megaree and Monlee on me. [Though she'd been considering dropping them off at the house just minutes before. Seeing two pokéballs instead of three is a knife wiggled beneath her ribcage.] I get it though.

[They're just worried. She sighs, but can't manage a smile to reassure them that she understands. Gotta take her on the honor system.]

I've got some stuff to think about, and the house is [not quite loud, not quite full, especially since she's practically got the second floor to herself] just a little too much for me right now.

... [He stands up now, looking down at her instead.]

[What Gold's saying is important, but Silver's got a different approach.

He limps over to Crys' side- and tries not to wince too much in the process- before slowly sitting down next to her. Or, well, trying to slowly sit next to her, slipping, and ungracefully plopping down on his butt next to her. The two are pretty similar. They both hurt more than they should.]

You can stay here, but if you do, I'm staying too.

[That's a mean approach and you know it. She reaches out to steady Silver when he sits next to her, frowning. That's a very, very mean approach.]

You can't. [She shoots Gold a look - please tell our best friend he can't - and huffs.] Silver, you can't. I'm gonna be fine, but sitting around here isn't gonna help you any.

["Fine" is relative but eh, it's a good enough word.]

C'mon, Silver. You think I don't want to stick with her no matter where she goes? But you heard her. She wants to be left alone. [Despite saying that, he takes a seat right next to her.]

So we'll leave her alone, alright? [He looks right at him. They can leave her alone while not leaving her by herself, understand? So play along with what he's saying.]

[...He doesn't get where Gold is going with this, and almost opens his mouth to speak...

But he should trust Gold. He's up to something. So he nods along in silence and stays put.]

Being quiet doesn't make you any less here, you know. [Despite her edging on irritated tone, she closes her eyes and doesn't try to force them away. It's not like she could anyway. They're stubborn and idiots and really good friends, objectively speaking.] ...Are we all really going to sit here until I'm ready to go back to the house?

Hey, Silver. Check it out! [He reveals a deck of playing cards. Pokémon-themed, of course.]

[Cards? ...They've got little Pokéballs on them and everything...]

You find those in the item shop? [Did he always have them?]
