Zompania Draft: Coming Home

Who: Anyone drafted to Zompania, or recruited as reinforcements, or left behind in the village. SO. Everybody!
What: The draftees and reinforcements return to the village.
When: May 26, early early in the morning
Where: Back in Luceti
Summary: Most draftees and reinforcements return to Luceti in the very early hours; now, instead of a medevac site for the draft, the village is a welcome (?) refuge from the nightmare of Zompania for its own. There's a high likelihood it still looks a lot like it has in the past few days; those in the fight didn't even get a chance to shower before returning.

[The hand on her shoulder does help her relax and feel a bit better.]

[She'll see Nephry's remark about the rappigs, and raise her another one.]

I have a feeling that if we took the rappigs into Jade's room, they'd end up being breakfast.

[Although the Colonel trying to eat in a rappig-filled room was definitely an entertaining mental image.]

[Ooh. She's right. Nephry over-emphasizes a wince.]

Let's not try it. That much righteous satisfaction isn't good for anybody.

[Toast and eggs make up a simple meal; this isn't going to take them very long.] I'd like to see you eat something, too, if you can.

[For as well as she's feeling, Anise really isn't too up to eating right now. Cooking for everyone else was nice, and she'd have to eat eventually, but she was a little too overwhelmed to eat right now.]

I'm okay! A growing girl's gotta watch her figure, after all~! ♥

[As if Anise needs another thing to worry about, even a thing to put up as a front.]

I understand. [As usual, the toast is done now that Nephry isn't paying attention to it, and she pulls four pieces from the toaster oven and onto a plate.]

Perhaps...it's best to only give each person one piece. I'll happily make more if anyone discovers they're hungry after all.

[Oops! Since they'd gotten caught up in conversation, the eggs were nearly done too. It was a good thing that she'd opted to go for scrambled instead of fried; they'd probably be borderline inedible now. Looking down at it now, though, she had made a lot.]

Yeah...maybe we should hold back on the eggs, too. They might be kind of heavy.

[There would probably be leftovers, but they should be okay to give to Colonel, right?]

[Colonel is in Ion's room with him, but will chase bearers of scrambled eggs all over the house in the hope that some might drop for him. There will be no leftovers.]
