Sleepless in Luceti
Who: Aang, Sokka, Wan, Zuko
What: Teenagers staying up all night.
When: June 6th at an ungodly hour.
Where: House 56
Summary: Wan and Zuko can't sleep because of the shifts giving them nightmares. Aang and Sokka are also awake as a result. Thus some conversation ensues.
Rating: I for Insomnia
At a very early hour of the morning, House Avatar is likely to notice that there's activity already going on. This time at least there isn't another draft, but two of its occupants are sitting at the Pai Sho table. Wan and Zuko to be exact, both being unable to sleep do to certain... nightmares relating to their experiences in the draft. There is tea, a game to pass the time, and dark circles under the eyes.
Zuko is also a victim of the recent time related shifts. His... hair having grown several inches during the hours of the night to the point that it resembles this guy . There is just no winning. And he's not winning Pai Sho either.

We'll be fine, this isn't the first time Zuko and I have gone a night without sleep.

Maybe you guys should have some cactus juice before going to bed. It certainly made all my thoughts happier while it was there.
Night, guys.
[He yawns a bit before giving a weak wave to them to signal good night. And then he closes his door.]

But... You guys can't keep going without sleep. It'll make everything all weird! Maybe... meditation can help with the nightmares?

He then looks at Aang, knowing his right. After all, the last time he had night terrors when people were trying to assassinate him, he was definitely not himself.]
I don't know. But I guess I can give it a try.
[He doubts it'll work but at least saying he will try might make Aang feel better so that he'll go back to bed.]

Why does it matter? Forget one night, I've had enough of dying for a few lifetimes.

[Zuko tries to sound a little less angry, but doesn't manage to get all the grump out of his voice. He knows his friend means well, but... there's only so much that can be done right now. Meditating might not be a bad idea though.]

That's not what I meant...
[and now he feels like a jerk]
Aang, I know you care and you want to help out, but tonight is not the time.
[which hurt to say, but everything was way too raw and horrible tonight.]

[Wan is trying hard to sound comforting, even if in reality what he is saying is... a little disturbing.]
