Heheh. I should've complained about that instead. It is a pain in the ass.

They should've added a juice dispenser or something. That would have made a lot of this more bearable.

We'd look like hamsters lining up for a drink, but I could deal with it.

No, no. In the helmet! [He taps the side again.]

[But this building here looks like a good place to touch base. A fallen chimney has collapsed half a wall inwards, so it's easier to step through the holes than look for what's left of the door.]

[He puts his hands on his hips, looking about.]

It might be more effective to just brute force it, actually. We can save your energy for a block that's still stable enough to give us real trouble.

[Says the pot to the kettle. Isamu frowns at the wreck they'd stepped into.]

If we're gonna do that, might be best to do it from the outside.

We can wait. [He shuffles a bit, before making to sit with one knee drawn up. Better not to lean on anything.] You said you needed a break. Take the chance while you got it.

[He sits down on the ground, not trusting anything here to hold his weight.]

But if it falls on us I'm blaming you.

I'll get you a written apology. Give it a week after you kill me for sneezing and knocking the place over.

[He whistles from under the face plate.] Picky.

[Cool cool. From the shrug, Shikamaru is taking Isamu's word for it. Lazily he reaches across the floor for a piece of broken off plaster with a pointed end that must've broken off from somewhere. He turns it into a makeshift pencil, drawing out a gomoku board.]

Oh, are we playing games now?

[He looks down as Shikamaru begins drawing out the grid.]

Shit, I haven't played that in forever.

Oho. You know it?

[Shikamaru breaks the piece of plaster in half. It was long enough to start that there's still enough to make two pieces out of it.]

Yeah. Used to play it all the time as a kid instead of paying attention in class. Before I got better at hiding my Game Boy, anyway.

So like I said. It's been a while.

[He watches as Shikamaru makes the most primitive of boards.]
