Iiiiit's Monday, and that means it's time for class!
Who: All the fine students of Luceti U!
What: IT'S TIME FOR COLLEGE, YO.
When: September 8 - 12th.
Where: All over "campus".
Summary: It's the first week of class for all you wonderful students, both new and old! Enjoy catching up with friends, trying to find your classes, engaging in all aspects of college life, and... let's not forget about the upcoming game.
Rating: PG-13 at best, guys. I know this is supposed to be college but if you're going to engage in the more... racy aspects of college life, take it off-comm!
---
This is the general catch-all log for the event. You know the drill by now. There's a separate log going up that will be used for Featherbook. Please feel free to use the two logs in tandem with one another. In fact, we encourage it!

Day 1
[But unfortunately, it's hard to tell whether anyone else is aware of it all or not. And he didn't want to sound like he was losing his mind by asking everyone he met if they were "affected" or not.]
[Thankfully, he walks by Riku at just about the perfect time, quickly turning on his heel when they cross paths. Of course, he also has to be sure he didn't just mishear him.]
Ah, Riku? Did... you just say something?

[He spins around, slightly tense. Compared to everyone else, classes clubs, and school spirit are the last things on his mind. Right now, what matters is...]
I'm not under a Shift. I... This whole school thing. You're not buying into it, right?
[He's gotta be sure. Last thing he needs is for Ion to think he's snapped.]
no subject
[And now that he's looking at him straight on, he also notices the little bat sitting on his shoulder. House One's only pet was a dog, so he hasn't seen the effects of what happens to the more exotic ones.] Is... that Sonar?
no subject
And yeah, it's him. I don't know what happened-- probably whatever changed the rest of the village into this.
[He gestures at the buildings and then covers his face with his palm.]
It's like Luceti Valley all over again.

[Ion nods.]
I don't think I've ever been on the outside looking in for an experiment of this magnitude before. It's all rather disorienting.
[But more importantly:] Do you know of anyone else who isn't affected? I'm sure it would be best for us to find one another now before the others start thinking we're the ones who've gone mad.
no subject
[He holds up the "journal," now reduced to a tablet. Ugh, as if things weren't weird enough already.]
Nobody believes it. Worse, half the people who responded acted... well, there are a few words I could sue to describe it, but I'll just keep it clean and say they were being way too obnoxious for their own good.
no subject
[Unfortunately, thinking of past experiences also brings a lingering concern to the forefront.]
Do you think this is just another experiment? It seems rather involved, even for the Malnosso... [Even the first AU experiment had been because they needed an excuse to get inside the village. Surely this was no different, right?]
no subject
[The time fluctuations. The shift bomb. The random, personalized shifts... Something's been off for a long time, and as far as Riku's concerned, this is just another nail in the coffin.]
If this is just an experiment, then they really need to get a clue. A shift like this? It's not funny.
no subject
[Brainwashing everyone for a few days and letting a chosen few run around thinking they're being invaded again? After everything that happened during the last draft? It was twisted. But then, so were the Malnosso.]
I wish there was some way we could confirm it... I can't imagine the Malnosso would simply respond if we tried to contact them.
no subject
[Tch. You'd think they'd have something better to do with their time, and just the thought makes Riku roll his eyes.]
So what's your plan? You gonna stick around?
