Iiiiit's Monday, and that means it's time for class!
Who: All the fine students of Luceti U!
What: IT'S TIME FOR COLLEGE, YO.
When: September 8 - 12th.
Where: All over "campus".
Summary: It's the first week of class for all you wonderful students, both new and old! Enjoy catching up with friends, trying to find your classes, engaging in all aspects of college life, and... let's not forget about the upcoming game.
Rating: PG-13 at best, guys. I know this is supposed to be college but if you're going to engage in the more... racy aspects of college life, take it off-comm!
---
This is the general catch-all log for the event. You know the drill by now. There's a separate log going up that will be used for Featherbook. Please feel free to use the two logs in tandem with one another. In fact, we encourage it!

She works on the 'small steps', as he calls them, in relative silence other than the sound of her pen on the paper.
"I don't know how beautiful it is... but I think I've got an answer."
no subject
He smiles crookedly. "It's totally beautiful. The world is beautiful, right? Anyway, go for it. What's the answer?"
no subject
"Twenty-seven."

Loki nods, grinning. "You got it. Well, I got 26.8 but it's a rounding thing. That depends on how many significant figures you need. And don't forget your units. Always always write down your units."
no subject
"How do I know how many significant figures I need?"
As for the world sucking, Jane fails to see the distinction. The world is filled with people, and yes people suck, so therefore the world sucks.
Except for Loki, of course. So far he's been pretty cool. She might actually like him a little bit.

Ah, significant figures. "Okay... so significant figures are kind of weird. It all depends on how many significant figures were in your original numbers, and then what mathematical operations you did. It's a way to denote the degree of accuracy..." and he'll briefly go over significant figures, which his player will not type out because significant figures were the bane of her existence in uni.

"Okay, I think I might have a handle on this. Let me try another one on my own with you here if I have a question?"
