Summary: Billy and Rogue approach Wanda to try and lay the ground work for telling her about her brainwashing... or not! How will she respond?
Rating: T for teen? Swearing might happen.

[Wanda has been doing her usual thing at the club; Cleaning, dancing, general maintenance where necessary. She is currently taking a break, sitting at one of the few booths along the side of the dance floor, sipping some sort of red drink she acquired at the bar through a straw, bobbing her head to the music, and watching the dance floor.

She's been in a very good mood, since her birthday. It seems like everything is coming up 'Wanda'. She's been spending a lot of time with Kurt, which is just delightful to her. In fact, she's been more social in general, spending more time with people, and less time meditating. There hasn't been a single explosion, either, despite her lack of discipline. She's really starting to come out of her shell, and smile more. There was a time when she was afraid to be happy. Afraid that if she was happy, she'd forget to control her power. And while maybe she does lose control, a little, the results haven't been explosive. Weird, sure, but not dangerous.

All in all, Wanda is in a good place right now. And she's happy to talk with any and all of her friends.]

[This was going to suuuuuuuck. There really wasn't any way around it. It had to be done, and it was going to be awful, and there was not enough alcohol in the world to make this easier, but surrounded by people dancing and missing Loki and apprehensive about what was happening and pretty much hating life, Rogue was tempted to try.

Of course, that was not part of the plan. The plan that pretty much would involve her doing the first bit of talking and Billy following up if necessary.

As she walked into the club and sat at the bar, she wondered if she could talk to Billy about amending the plan. She was bad at plans anyway.]

[Usually when Billy ventures into the club, it's for dancing, and he almost always brings Teddy with him. Arriving alone feels weird enough; knowing what he's here to do makes it even worse. At least they already have a plan, because he's fairly certain that doing this on the fly would make him screw it all up horrendously.

...Well, truth be told, that might happen anyway. But he feels a little better knowing that they have a better idea of what to do.

This is for Wanda. To help her. Don't screw it up now.

He spots Rogue immediately, and Wanda a moment later. Unsure which to approach, he ventures forward in their general direction and hopes that Wanda waves them both down, or at least welcomes their presence. If she's busy, they'll have to think of something else...]

[Wanda spots Rogue, and will try that new thing she's been doing if their eyes meet; Smiling. She's a little hesitant to approach her, however. Rogue is a bit of a solitary creature, and Wanda's still not sure how to judge when someone (especially someone like Rogue) wants company or not. She likes Rogue, and her brutal honesty, but she worries about her too. Living under the same roof with a telepath? Very spooky.

Then again, Wanda hasn't exactly been a rare feature around the X-house, recently. Spooky, indeed.

Billy, on the other hand... It's not that she doesn't care if he wants company. It's just that she is actively drawn to those she considers Family, and wants to spend time with them. They're like a rudder in her life, and she finds that comforting.

Spotting her not!son, she beams, then cocks her head to the side. Where's Teddy? The two usually show up together. It's not an always thing, so she's not alarmed or anything, it's just-- notable.

With a smile, she raises her glass, almost like a toast, when their eyes meet. Of course you're welcome here! You're always welcome!]

[Rogue gives Wanda a little smile and a nod back, but isn't in a rush for her to come over without Billy. When she sees Billy and Wanda connect, she just sort of assumes that they'll come over eventually, so she takes a sip of her drink.]

[Aha. With Wanda's welcome and Rogue's silence, Billy sees an opening to break the ice. He smiles and waves at Wanda, closing the distance, and glances between the two.]

Hey, guys, what's with the loner act in here? Want to pull a table together? Better with friends, and all that.

Sure. [Wanda smiles, happily. Friends! She loves it when people call her that.] Do want anything from the bar? ... I've been learning a little about mixing drinks.

[Billy, the Icebreaker. Rogue wonders for a moment how he'd feel about THAT as a superhero code name.]

I guess I'll take somethin'. Surprise me. [She gives a smile and... goes to pull a table together.]

[Don't even think about it Rogue.

Billy steps up to help Rogue with the table, dragging a set of chairs into place for them.]

Whatever you want to make is fine with me too. Just, um. Make it virgin.

[Wanda turns to head behind the bar, doing her best to hide her reaction to the word "virgin". She may, or may not, just received a more informative version of the talk just a few weeks prior. Yeesh.] ... Surprises all round, then.

[She mixes the drinks surprisingly quickly, something with Gin, Raspberry Liqueur and Cream for Rogue, and something with Irish Cream, Banana Liqueur and Blue Curacao for Billy. No one's taught her the slang "virgin" for "non-alcoholic" yet, sorry Billy! For herself, a simple vodka with cranberry juice.

Yes, she makes them drinks based on colour; A mellow purple for Rogue, intense blue for Billy and (of course) red for herself. A simple hex levitates the drinks in the air, as she brings them over to the table for all of them.]

... speaking of surprises... Where's Teddy, tonight?

Teddy's... getting some work done at the art gallery, actually. I thought I'd come hang out for a while and wait for him.

[It's not a lie, not exactly- Teddy is around, and Billy is waiting for him, but that's not what he's here for.

He accepts her drink with a smile - nice levitating - takes a small sip... and coughs. That... is not virgin. Goddammit.]

[Rogue eyes Billy's reaction with an amused quirk of her lips - not quite a smile, not even a smirk. Her face is out of practice with those expressions lately. She glances at her mellow purple with a bit more appreciative assessment and takes a cautious sip.

Ah. Good stuff.

Still, she'd better not let herself get too relaxed.

Ha. Ha ha ha. That was a funny thought. As if she could relax on a night like tonight, ha ha ha.]

So instead you're keepin' me company while I brood. [She's always put up very little front for Wanda. Tonight that will work for her advantage, she thinks. She glances at Wanda and Billy equally, including both of them in the conversation.] I'm havin' a hard time gettin' out, these days.

... Oh? [Wanda shifts her attention. She had been giving Billy a questioning look after his cough. Maybe his drink wasn't so good. But now she's looking at Rogue.] ... I'm glad you came here, tonight, at least. ... Are-- you ok?

[Yeah he's just. Gonna drink sparingly until they're done here. Maybe he can get a glass of water as a counter afterwards.

For the moment, he stays silent, joining Wanda in giving Rogue an inquisitive look. She has more of a plan with this than he does, and an opening has been offered, so he lets her take point for the moment.]

[Rogue drops her gaze here, suddenly finding the color of her drink just fascinating. She knew what she hand to say, but she didn't know if she could just come out and say it. It wasn't wrong, doing what she was doing. It was all truth. But she was hesitant to share pain for any reason, let alone... she wasn't doing this to manipulate. She was doing it to offer choice. She had to keep that in mind.]

I'm... gettin' by, I guess. [She looks back up at Wanda and gives her a wan smile.

I miss Loki. Three little words. Far too small for the entirety of all that she felt.]

[Wanda nods, swirling her drink slowly, absentmindedly. She is keenly aware that "getting by" and "being ok" are two entirely separate creatures. Unfortunately, that's about as far as her knowledge goes. She wants to help, but doesn't really know how.]

That's-- good. I mean. ... Yeah. [Her eyes roll up in her head slightly, as she tries to think of a way to phrase what she's thinking.] Is there ... anything I can do? [She glances at Billy.] ... We? Can do?

Definitely we. [Billy smiles faintly, his expression sympathetic. He feels like he's cheating, since he and Rogue are in this together, but his concern actually is genuine.]
