What: Misa agreed to show Hijiri, who was new to Luceti, around.

Where: First to House #7, then who knows...
Summary: Misa meets Hijiri Minase,  one of the  new feathers.  She agrees to show him around Luceti. She couldn't help it. It seemed like a fun idea.

Misa closed and locked the door of House #50. Everyone else was out that day and not only Misa. It was sad that Misa hadn't seen Tifa in a very long while. Partly Misa's fault for rising so late in the morning. Once she was sure that the house was secured she walked towards House #7. At times like these, Misa wished that they had cars in Luceti. It was really inconvenient to go anywhere without transportation. She was really going to look forward to the time where she could ride even a bus again.

She was looking forward to showing him around. Hijiri reminded her a great deal of Duo. She was sure that they met already. Somehow though, she felt like maybe she should worry about those two teaming up. Hisoka seems to be the first person that they plan to target for their mischief. Her only relief was believing that Hijiri wouldn't go too far with his jokes.

It took some time, but Misa finally made it to House #7, where Hijiri and his friends were staying. She wondered how Hisoka was. That last time she saw him, he was certainly in a sour mood for a reason that he hadn't told her. She knocked carefully on the door. "Hello? Anyone home?"

Hijiri answered the door almost immediately with a big smile.

"Misa-chan~!" He stepped back a bit to look at her appreciatively. "You're just as pretty as I thought~ You sure I won't be attacked by any jealous admirers just for being seen in public with you~?"

Unlike before where she could still stifle her laughter from hiding behind her journal, Misa had to laugh. Hijiri really knew how to make a first impression interesting.

She made a mock curtsy. "Thank you, Hijiri. Misa is really flattered." After straightening, she grinned. "Nope. No jealous admirers. What about you? Should Misa be wary of jealous fangirls?"

Hijiri bowed back. "Nope. I don't think any of them have managed to follow me here... yet!" He laughed. "Let's go then~!"

Laughing, Misa nods and skips ahead a few steps away from Hijiri. "Misa can start by showing you around town. You already know Duo's pizza place, right? Duo mentioned that you've visited them. How about Daisya's bakery?"

Misa didn't really know where to start yet. She wanted to know first the places that Hijiri already went to before she could show him anything new. Though, she wouldn't mind paying Duo another visit.

He follows her at a leisurely pace. "Yes, I've already been to the pizza place and the bakery. Been to some of the shops, mainly the clothes ones. Haven't really been anywhere else. Haven't seen the forest either."

"Then what else do you want Misa to show you?" She asked, suddenly stopping. "Hmmm... sadly, there not many shops in Luceti." Then she remembered some place that he might not have seen yet. "How about the fountain? Misa has only been there once before and Misa thinks it is very pretty! Though...Misa isn't sure if it is turned on at this time though,"

At the mention of the forest, she became uncertain. "Honestly, Misa doesn't know much about the forest. She'd never been there before." Turning to look at him. "Does Hijiri want to go there?"

"Really? There's nothing else here? The fountain sounds good!"

"We don't have to go there if you don't want to. I'm just curious about it, that's all. Never seen such a large forest before."

"Well, not really nothing. There are grocery stores here too, but they are hardly that interesting," she admitted. "The fountain is pretty though. It is in the heart of the town I think."

She shook her head and smiled, reassuringly. "Misa doesn't mind. If Hijiri really wants to go there, Misa doesn't see any harm in just looking, right?"

"We'll go to the fountain and perhaps looks round at the shop windows till we reach it then maybe go walk around near the edge of the forest. Then we could either go to Duo's or the bakery for something to eat?"

"That sounds like a good plan. It sounds a lot better than Misa's no-plan strategy," she replied, feeling a little embarrassed. She was not making a very good tour guide at all. "Hijiri is better at this than Misa is."

"How long have you been here? You've been to more places than Misa has," she started walking forward again, going towards the direction of the fountain. "Hijiri goes around fast."

He laughed a bit. "I suppose I'm used to this sort of thing. When we go out, my friends usually leave it to me to decide what to do."

"Hm... a few days? I went to Duo's because I saw his announcement about the opening, then Hisoka took me to the bakery the other day." He followed after her, looking around at the buildings around them. "What about you? How long have you been here?"

"How nice. Hijiri makes the decisions?" Misa thought it was so impressive that Hijiri was able to make his own decisions at such a young age. The first thing Misa had ever decided for herself was to pursue a career in the media. The next was to help Kira with his pursuit of justice. Though, Misa was a little older than Hijiri probably. He sounded like he had been making decisions for quite some time. "Hijiri, if you don't mind, how old are you?"

"A few weeks," She answered. Misa never realized that she'd been gone from her world for so long. "But, Misa had never had someone to explore Luceti with, so Misa hadn't visited many places."

"Mn! There's no one else to make them for me since I'm an orphan and all so I've had to take care of myself. I don't mind. I'm sixteen."

Hijiri smiled. "So now we get to explore together! I could never sit still in any one place!"

Then something in one of the shop windows caught his eye and he ran over to it, eyes sparkling. "Misa! Misa! Look! A violin!"

Misa forgot to mention that she wasn't sure if the mannequin was exactly Hijiri's size. Mannequins varied. Some were broad-shouldered and slim hipped, like in Hijiri's case. Others were of the more muscular type like Cloud was. There were a lot of types. Maybe she should worry about the measuring tape more than the mannequin.

She was still thinking quietly as she led herself and Hijiri into town, trying to find the shop by using only her memory. "Over there!" she exclaimed as she pointed to the same shop where she bought her fabrics from. "By the way, Misa wants to ask you first? What is your favorite color and is Hijiri formal or casual?"

He followed her, still very happy at having found what he'd been looking for and is awoken from his reverie by her question.

"Hm? Hm... my favourite colour? Green I guess. I'm more of a casual sort of person I suppose. Though I do wear formal clothes when I perform."

After listening, Misa was silent for a while. She really had no idea where to start when it came to men's clothes. It was certainly going to be difficult. She was grateful that he liked green because green was the color of his eyes so the color green shouldn't be a problem.

"Maybe a sweater?" she mumbled. Quite frankly, she hated knitting but even she admits that looks good with the proper matching of other articles of clothing. Misa was not very good at knitting yet. She was going to have to do some sketching when she got home.

"There it is!" she exclaimed pointing at a small shop ahead. It was a a small shop that anyone could pass by without noticing. Grabbing Hijiri's hand, she begins pulling him. "Come on Hijiri!"

He was a bit surprised when she grabbed his hand then laughed as she pulled him into the shop. "Okay! Okay! I'm coming!"

Reaching the star, the first thing he reached for was measuring tape. "The first thing to do is to get your measurements for the custom fit." She inspected the tape she was carrying. "Have you ever tried custom made clothes, Hijiri?" She giggles.

"Hm... custom made clothes? No, I don't think so. I have to wear something like a tux for formal performance but isn't custom made. It was altered a bit to fit me better though."

He put down his case and stood still, waiting for her to measure him.

Giggling as she measured the width of his shoulders. He had surprisingly broad shoulders and a small waist. Misa thought carefully. His body did remind her of some of the male models she knew from back home. "Custom clothes are so much fun. They fit like they were made for you... well, they are... but Misa thinks you'll get the point."

She then wraps the tape around his waist. It was a tiny waist for a guy. She smiles, remembering that he was still a boy. "This should be enough. Misa will go get the mannequin with your measurements now!"

She runs off and searches.

He watched with interest as she measured him and smiled. "Yeah, I get the point."

"Okay! I wait here then." He looked around at the other things in the store.

She browsed through the surprisingly vast collection of mannequins. She was surprised. Maybe it was just her, but she could have sworn that there were more mannequins on display than usual. She quickly dismissed it as her imagination though.

Spotting a mannequin that looked about Hijiri's size, she took the tape and tried it. She was right. It was also strange that she'd find the right one. She used to think that Hijiri measurements weree a little strange. Maybe it wasn't after all.

"Hijiri! Misa found it! misa wil ring it up and we can return for it later when we go back home!"

He came over to look at the mannequin. "Ah, so this is me? Handsome fellow, isn't he~?" He patted the mannequin's shoulder and stood next to it and gave her a silly grin. "So, we go onto the fountain as planned?"

Misa giggled and shook her head as Hijiri teased the mannequin. "Handsome? Maybe~" she couldn't help but tease back. "Don't you know it is rude to tease a mannequin? The poor thing can't tease you back." She sticks out her tongue.

She nods excitedly. "Sure! I can't wait to see it again. The last time, I only saw a glimpse."

"But I'm not teasing him! Just praising his beauty~" He laughed.

"Let's go then! Before we get sidetracked again and before it gets dark!" He led the way out.
