Who: Hijiri Minase (
akumano_trill) ; Misa Amane (
misamisa_dn)[[Open]]
What: Misa agreed to show Hijiri, who was new to Luceti, around.
When: Midday
Where: First to House #7, then who knows...
Summary: Misa meets Hijiri Minase, one of the new feathers. She agrees to show him around Luceti. She couldn't help it. It seemed like a fun idea.
Rating: No idea...
Misa closed and locked the door of House #50. Everyone else was out that day and not only Misa. It was sad that Misa hadn't seen Tifa in a very long while. Partly Misa's fault for rising so late in the morning. Once she was sure that the house was secured she walked towards House #7. At times like these, Misa wished that they had cars in Luceti. It was really inconvenient to go anywhere without transportation. She was really going to look forward to the time where she could ride even a bus again.
She was looking forward to showing him around. Hijiri reminded her a great deal of Duo. She was sure that they met already. Somehow though, she felt like maybe she should worry about those two teaming up. Hisoka seems to be the first person that they plan to target for their mischief. Her only relief was believing that Hijiri wouldn't go too far with his jokes.
It took some time, but Misa finally made it to House #7, where Hijiri and his friends were staying. She wondered how Hisoka was. That last time she saw him, he was certainly in a sour mood for a reason that he hadn't told her. She knocked carefully on the door. "Hello? Anyone home?"

She shook her head and smiled, reassuringly. "Misa doesn't mind. If Hijiri really wants to go there, Misa doesn't see any harm in just looking, right?"

"How long have you been here? You've been to more places than Misa has," she started walking forward again, going towards the direction of the fountain. "Hijiri goes around fast."
no subject
"Hm... a few days? I went to Duo's because I saw his announcement about the opening, then Hisoka took me to the bakery the other day." He followed after her, looking around at the buildings around them. "What about you? How long have you been here?"
no subject
"A few weeks," She answered. Misa never realized that she'd been gone from her world for so long. "But, Misa had never had someone to explore Luceti with, so Misa hadn't visited many places."
no subject
Hijiri smiled. "So now we get to explore together! I could never sit still in any one place!"
Then something in one of the shop windows caught his eye and he ran over to it, eyes sparkling. "Misa! Misa! Look! A violin!"
no subject
"It still surprises me where you would get the energy." She touched her cheek and shook her head. "Misa can't keep up with you.
Misa followed Hijiri to a shop window. The first thing she noticed were the display of violins. "Yes! Wow! These are exactly what Hijiri is looking for, right?" She turned to watch him. She smiled, seeing him look like a little boy outside a candy shop. Eyes sparkling with excitement...it was contagious. "Let's go inside?"
no subject
"Growing boys have lots and lots of energy!! I'll slow down a bit for you then, Onee-chan~♥"
He was inside before she even finsihed her question and is soon examining the violins carefully one by one.

She hadn't noticed that he was inside before she finished her sentence. After that, she shook her head and giggled then followed the younger boy inside.
Misa was a bigger fan of the pop culture, but she couldn't deny the elegance of the classical instrument. There was something about them that made Misa want to caress them. "They are so pretty," she whispered. "How do you choose, Hijiri?"
no subject
"Mn?" He looked over at her, while slowly running his fingers over the violin in his hands. "Every violin is destined for a certain player. You just have to find one that feels right to you. Hm... this one feels about right and has lovely curves... Let's see how it sounds."
He tucked the violin under his chin and his expression turned more serious as he started playing a series of scales and chords on the instrument.

She smiled then sighed. Misa missed music. She hadn't heard anyone play music since arriving to Luceti. Now that she was, she realized that she took music ofr granted back home.
Her eyes remained closed until Hijiri finished. She was glad to help Hijiri find an instrument. Such talent would be such a waste if it was not made to flourish. "MmmmmMMm... it is beautiful, Hijiri."
no subject
He stopped playing for a moment and turned it over. There engraved in tiny script towards the bottom of the instrument was his family name - "Minase".
"This! This is my father's violin!" His eyes widened in shock. "B-b-but it was lost in the fire... h-how is this possible!?"
no subject
"Your father's real violin?" she asked, running to his side. She took a look at the engraved script and gasped. "It was in a fire?" Her eyes traveled around them. Luceti was getting scarier and scarier.
"They can bring back something that is gone?" She looked worriedly at Hijiri. "What are they? Misa is not going to believe that they are just scientists." How would they know what was in their hearts so well?
no subject
"Yes, or else a very, very good replica of it... I lost it in a fire... if they can really bring back the dead..." A chill ran up his spine. "I suppose it's not too surprising that they are bring back objects that are gone or at least make very good copies of them... perhaps it's part of their experiments to see how we'll react."
As creepy as it was, he found he couldn't let go of the violin though.

It was already apparent to her that Hijiri was not about to let go of his treasure. She was not about to do or say anything that would destroy his happiness. "Play something again for me, please?" she whispered.
"I want to hear how Hijiri plays, when he is serious..."
no subject
He looked down at it, lost in thought then looked up at Misa's whispering. "Oh yeah, I'd promised I would play you something. Do you have any requests? I don't know if I'm familiar with the songs from your world but you can hum or sing it out for me and I'll be able to make up something."
"Eh?" He pouted a bit at that. "What do you mean by that~? I'm always serious~! Always!" He laughed, back to his normal self.
no subject
She was uncertain about her request. It was a challenging and complicated piece but it was so fun to listen to. It was a piece that one would like to listen to rising in the morning. Though, she did not understand why.
She laughed with him. "You know what Misa means! And how is Hijiri always serious? You're as bad as Duo when it comes to teasing!"
no subject
He looked off in the distance for a moment, concentrating hard then started playing seriously, laughing a little when he fumbled on one of the notes since he was playing just from memory but quickly recovered, making it sound like his own twist to the piece rather than a mistake.
He winked. "I tease seriously~♥"
no subject
She found it a little odd that he'd even heard of the piece. That would mean that they have a Wieniawski in their world too. So, like she suspected recently. Their world were not so different. The difference was that their world probably didn't have a Death Note and her world had an absence of demons wanting to hunt them down.
Hijiri's playing was upbeat. She could certainly see why he excelled in playing. He made it obvius in his playing that he certainly enjoyed it.
Misa giggled. "Hijiri really is a little devil..." ♥
no subject
"May~be~♥ Ah~ It feels great to be able to play again~!"
no subject
"Misa is happy to hear that. It always makes you happy to do something you like." She sighs and looks out the window. "Sometimes, Misa misses modeling. Misa enjoys wearing pretty clothes and looking and feeling pretty." She couldn't do it anymore though. She was content making clothes for Nill and making her look pretty.
no subject
"Well, you can still do that here, can't you? You could start your own line of clothing or something."
no subject
Misa laughed. Just that moment, Hijiri sounded so much like Duo. "You know, Hijiri. Duo recommended that Misa started a hair salon. Misa thought about it but it was hard without technology and Misa doesn't know how to get hair mouse," she sighed. "Though, Mias's own clothes line would sound like a lot of fun."
no subject
"It does sound like fun, doesn't it? I would help you with the sewing if I knew how... maybe I could be a model instead! You can teach me all about modelling!"
no subject
"If Hijiri is serious..." She sighed, wishing she could get a camera somehow. Since she couldn't be in front of the camera, she could take pictures of other people. "Modeling isn't very hard."
