Tir had offered to help the girl earlier simply because she'd seemed to be in trouble- some part of what she had said had reminded him of another girl in the woods, years back, who'd proclaimed that she'd been lost with no place to go, would he please protect her? He'd agreed, and she'd become his teleportation mage. And over the period where he'd been looking for followers, there'd been many who had asked for his help. He'd never been able to bring himself to begrudge them, somehow.

Flipping open his book as he looked about him, Tir scanned the pages where he'd been talking to the girl. In another of the conversations she'd introduced herself as Arietta.

The raindrops fell on the book and he shut it before it could get any wetter. Instinctively, he spread his wings about his shoulders to ward off the rain; it was an instinct he hadn't realized he'd had, and the knowledge made him slightly uncomfortable. Walking on into the woods, Tir looked around for any sign of a person having gone past. There would be little luck there, though- to attempt to track someone in this whether would be difficult, even for him.

'Arietta,' he called out, wondering if he'd receive an answer.
