Who: Junpei & Minato
What: they venture outside.
When: whenever
Where: outdoors
Summary: TBA!
Rating: G?
Junpei's suggestion to go exploring was quite possibly the most wonderful thing Minato had ever been privileged with hearing.
Without homework to do or social links to nurture or the prospect of an escapade in Tartarus to anticipate, Minato found that existence had been reduced to an intense drudgery of constant boredom. For few initial days of his stay, he'd been preoccupied with recovering from the change in setting and wracking his mind (in vain) as to how exactly these circumstances had come to be, but now, there was simply nothing to do. It was about time he went outside to survey his surroundings.
The weather was a problem. It seemed like ages since the village had seen any sunlight, and though the constant downpour was thus far still tolerable (if not unnerving), watching torrents of water pelting relentlessly from the sky from indoors made the very idea of stepping outside difficult to stomach.
This presented a dilemma. Waste away from boredom indoors, or risk drowning outside? Minato could envision either situation unfolding in vivid detail, and neither seemed particularly attractive. But as far as he could tell, trying to wait it out just wasn't working. So it was time to go for a new approach. Time to suck it up and cross that threshold, even if it meant being drenched to the skin and inevitably coming down with something.
Minato was almost glad they'd taken away his headphones. The water wouldn't have agreed with them.

He was BEYOND antsy by now, so a little rain wasn't going to stop him from making the most out of this.
..okay, it was way more than a little, but that's not the point.
"Yo, so are we gonna take our time with this or just make a run for it? These clothes they gave us aren't gonna keep us from freezing 'the boys' off for too long." The taller of the two shuddered at the thought.
Hopefully they'd find a place to buy some thicker clothing.
