Who: Pride and Alphonse Elric
What: A meeting
When: Evening
Where: By the bridge that crosses over the stream.
Summary: The Bluebird wants to see Alphonse
Rating: PG 13?
Pride couldn't sleep. Not in this hot weather. The Bluebird (his other half) had been playing the dominant part within the confines. But now Pride had hold of things. "I suppose I could let you see him, sweetest." He said to himself as he looked out of the window. He grabbed a small box of cookies from off of the table and made his way out of the house. The moon was standing proud within the black night sky. It was simply beautiful to say the least. Pride made his way over to the bridge by the stream and waited for Alphonse.

"Hey, Al." He said. That felt so strange, greeting someone else just as casually as he had spoken those words to his own brother, the exact same way. Everything about this Alphonse reminded him of an exact copy of his own back home when he was alive. He really didn't know what to say at first. He was surprised that they had such a strong likeness and resemblance. Almost as though he was looking at a picture.

"B... Pride.. h-hello," he stuttered out, getting his act together because he really couldn't allow the other to realize he had almost called him brother.

"How...How have you been? D..Did you find him yet?" He asked, hoping that Al did make progress in finding his own Edward. He knew the pain of losing the other half all too well and it was something that he would never want to wish on anyone.

"... No.... I haven't. Not even a trace or a word.. nothing.."

"You know...I'm not some kind of monster..I'm still me but.." He began then trailed off. He really couldn't bring himself to say anymore than that. If he were to have said anything else, it would have ended up in half choked words followed by tears which he was trying his best to hold back.
"I..I'm sorry.." A long pause. "Maybe this was a mistake. I..I only wanted to see my brothers face again. I was beginning to forget what he looked like..I.." Another long pause. "I'm sorry for bothering you."

"I.. I understand, I know how you feel. Coming to this place.. it was the first time I'd seen my brother in.. years..." he remarked quietly, "So don't apologize.. it's the closest thing I have right now, to see you, that is.. "

"And you're the closest thing I have to my brother right now as well. There's not a day that goes by where I don't miss him."
