What: A picnic
When: Mid-afternoon
Where: A clearing in the woods
Summary: Naruto arrived in a bad mood, so Kyu suggested a picnic to help cheer him up and introduce him to Gaara's friends in Luceti. Little do most of them know, Yuffie and has spiked the watermelon...
Rating: PG-13 for alcohol use.
Gaara looked up at the sky. It was a nice day, but that didn't improve his mood any. This would be the first time he'd seen Naruto in person in Luceti, and large gatherings weren't exactly his thing. But Yuffie had said she would bring watermelon, so at least he had something to look forward to as he set out the food he had brought.

"Put them with the rest of the food." He walked back over to the blanket that kept the food off the ground, noting that a corner had blown over and fixed it, weighting it with his gourd, since he didn't expect to need it and it would still be withing useful range.

"Can do!" And with that, she'll race off to set everything down. The one arm she could feel was going a bit numb from holding mostly everything. She was also smart enough to put the 'safe' pieces away from the others.

He looked at the food, all of which was of the no-need-to-heat variety or else stuff that could be gotten pre-made, since Gaara really didn't feel like starting another fire. His eyes lingered lightly on the watermelon, but he waited. He shouldn't start eating before everyone else had arrived...
