Who: Gaara and Kyu, Yuffie, Naruto, Ukitake, Train and Hitsugaya
What: A picnic
When: Mid-afternoon
Where: A clearing in the woods
Summary: Naruto arrived in a bad mood, so Kyu suggested a picnic to help cheer him up and introduce him to Gaara's friends in Luceti. Little do most of them know, Yuffie and has spiked the watermelon...
Rating: PG-13 for alcohol use.
Gaara looked up at the sky. It was a nice day, but that didn't improve his mood any. This would be the first time he'd seen Naruto in person in Luceti, and large gatherings weren't exactly his thing. But Yuffie had said she would bring watermelon, so at least he had something to look forward to as he set out the food he had brought.
(Um...I'm thinking this would best be done in multiple threads)

Gaara walked over in a more dignified manner, resisting the urge to grab a piece of watermelon right then "Do you need help?"

Hitsugaya nodded in greeting, noting all the things the other was carrying. "I'm not carrying anything," he offered quietly.
"We're only missing our guest of honor now."

"Looks like I'm late to the party."

Train walked over and set his bottles down- and yes they are his bottles, he wrote his name on them.
