What: A picnic
When: Mid-afternoon
Where: A clearing in the woods
Summary: Naruto arrived in a bad mood, so Kyu suggested a picnic to help cheer him up and introduce him to Gaara's friends in Luceti. Little do most of them know, Yuffie and has spiked the watermelon...
Rating: PG-13 for alcohol use.
Gaara looked up at the sky. It was a nice day, but that didn't improve his mood any. This would be the first time he'd seen Naruto in person in Luceti, and large gatherings weren't exactly his thing. But Yuffie had said she would bring watermelon, so at least he had something to look forward to as he set out the food he had brought.

Yuffie was trying her best not to smile to much as she made her way where the picnic was gonna be. She had gotten two watermelons, and cut one and a half of them up, spiking those pieces, and leaving the last half uncut so she would know which ones were safe for her to eat...since really, she's never even had alcohol, let alone a lot of it! Though she was smart enough to make sure that nobody would be able to taste it while eating the watermelon! Because anybody would be smart enough to stop eating any food that tasted weird!

Truthfully, Hitsugaya wanted to avoid being near so many people at once. It was nerve racking, as he reminded himself those memories were merely illusions, remembering Ukitake's words. But he also wanted to support Gaara in whatever he was doing for his friend. Hm. Decisions.

Train showed up a bit later than the rest, a few bottles of milk between his fingers. Though he hadn't really taken his time getting there, he still didn't make it in time with the others.
