Who: YOU AND ME! THAT SPELLS... MOUYE?
What: More event shenanigans
When: Today until the 4th! (Backdating is okay too)
Where: All around Luceti. Actually that's wrong. Anywhere INSIDE Luceti.
Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a second log so people can change up their effects and try something new, jump into the event late, or just avoid the impending CAPTCHA on the first log.

[There's a familiar little girl running about Luceti in a pair of overalls, yellow t-shirt and sandals with familiar curled up brown hair. She'll be running amok everywhere in the village but doesn't venture into the forest. Mama and Papa would be mad at her if she went out there.

What do you do when you find this little girl exploring or playing?]

[ooc: Selphie is de-aged and AU'd for Luceti Valley.]

[Golbez is bearing through the craziness of the shift with relative grace, even though his son doesn't recognize him, his other son is long gone, and really he's pretty much all alone right now.

A familiar giggle from nearby draws his attention... And he smiles indulgently as he looks over, seeing his little niece playing around a flowerbed. Perhaps she's been unaffected.]

Selphie! [He calls out, raising a hand.] What are you up to over there?

[Selphie looks up at her name being called and runs immediately to her Uncle and wraps herself around his leg.

She looks up at Uncle Golbez excitedly.]

Playun!

You've been being careful of the flowers, haven't you?

[He reaches down and gives her hair an affectionate ruffle.]

Yep!

[The hair ruffling will earn giggles and a bear hug of the leg she's attached herself to.]

[Such a good girl. Golbez kneels down to look at her better.]

That's good. Your parents would be most unhappy if you wrecked someone's hard work. What game are you playing?

Hide n' go seek!

Or... I was.

Oh? But who with? I don't see anyone around to hide from.

[He lifts his head and exaggeratedly looks left, then right.]

Count to ten and then you gotta find me!

Well, I guess I walked right into that one.

Alright, you get to hiding, then.

[He ducks his face behind his hands.] Ooooooooone...

[Selphie gives a double nod before she scurries away to find a hiding place.

Behind a tree? Under a porch?

She spots a rather full set of bushes and quickly ducks inbetween them.]

[And just in time, because her uncle is getting to the end of his counting.]

Eeeeeight... Niiiiine... Ten! Here I come, Selphie!

[Golbez raises his head, and starts to look around, folding his arms and frowning in concentration.]

Now, where could that girl have gone...

[Selphie stands in between the bushes quiet as a mouse while her Uncle starts looking for her.

If one listens carefully enough, they may just hear a series of stifled giggles.]

[Golbez has no trouble hearing her, of course, but he doesn't give that away. Instead, he begins to slowly walk around, exaggeratedly looking this way and that.]

I wonder, is she... behind this tree?

[He quickly darts his head behind one of the larger trees around them, and sounds very surprised when he says:]

Oh blast, no Selphie. I was so sure she was here. Hmmmm...

[She peeks out from between the bushes before crouching down low to be better hidden but she can't stop her giggles.]

Hmmm... perhaps underneath the porch?

[He immediately drops down, checking underneath it, only to once again be disappointed.]

Ah, not there either. Oh where, oh where, has Selphie gone...

[He glances around, seemingly lost for a moment, then wanders over to the bush, sighing.]

She's hidden herself very well. Clever girl.

[Selphie will attempts to become on with the bush but manages to snap some twigs on the ground.]

Hmmmm... now what could that noise have been. Could it be... no, surely not. She wouldn't think to hide in...

This bush! [He grabs the branches and shoves them aside, grinning down at Selphie and chuckling deep in his chest.]

[The little bitty just gives Uncle Golbez a sunny beam.]

You found me!
