Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a second log so people can change up their effects and try something new, jump into the event late, or just avoid the impending CAPTCHA on the first log.

Days 1-7: Species Swap

[Jubei has been living life since day one as a tiny rat. Or at least he thinks he's a rat, he isn't quite sure. He certainly doesn't look like any normal cat should and certainly not himself. It's discomforting, but he's managed to get along. Turns out the tiny body is very quick and he can still hop around very easily.

With that in mind, Jubei will be moving around Luceti as a Kyuubey for the first week. He'll be hopping up benches to get a better look at his surroundings and keep an unblinking facial expression that never changes. Yeah creepy.

On top of that because he can't see as easily in such a small body, he may end up bumping into you. If he does he'll be quick to apologize. Just don't be shocked when his mouth doesn't move.]

Sorry about that. Didn't see ya there!

Day 10

[However on Days 8 and 9 he is back to normal. He hopes to stay that way, but it isn't so easy. He awakens in the body of a human and no longer in the forests. And one look in the mirror immediately sets him off into a silent rage. He looks like the bastard Terumi. Except this wasn't quite Terumi himself - this body didn't have an evil look in it's eye - but just the way he looked was incredibly similar.

Jubei takes some time to calm down inside of what he perceives to be the house the look-alike lives in and then leaves. He has to find his body. He doesn't think this is Terumi, something nags at him about it, but if it is then he'll have to find where the bastard is before his body is hurt. He's just hoping the cat allergy transferred over in the switch.

In any case Jubei, now looking like Kazuma Kval is wandering around the village. If he sees you around he'll ask you the same question--]

Excuse me, have you seen a five foot tall cat in an orange cloak?

Day 10

[Well he'll find that five foot tall cat leaving the library late that afternoon. He's been hiding out there, uncertain about returning back to the house like this or finding the real Master who was probably walking in his body. Somehow he managed a conversation with Ragna without much incident and that's how he got some idea who this cat person was. Shame he couldn't get a name out of Ragna without blowing his cover.

He won't have to look for too long before spotting his own body walking through the plaza. It was...really bizarre. Yea he's met Terumi who looked just like him, but this was still just a weird thing to see.]

... [And he'll just keep staring from the steps in front of the library, yep.]

[Jubei is in the area looking around, though has to brush the weird bangs aside from his face every now and then when they get displaced, when his eyes catch sight of an orange stand out. Bingo. He grits his teeth, unsure of whether it's Terumi or not, and snarls.]

Hey, you, cat! Get over here!

[Didn't think you could yell like that, did you Kazuma?]

-!! [No, no he didn't, and it was kind of scary hearing himself talk like that. Man he was ready to go and apologize to whomever this Master cat person was but...nervously he'll walk over to where his body was.

This was too weird.] ... [He couldn't bring himself to say anything once he was a few feet from him. Scared and not trying to make any eye contact with him. He's Ragna's master right? No telling how tough this cat person could be.]

[Yeah toughest cat person in the whole world right here. But the fact that he's compiling is proof enough that this person isn't Terumi at the least. The bastard would run off and make a mess.]

Who are you exactly? You look familiar to me.

...My name is Kazuma, sir. [Being familiar with him could mean two things, that he's familiar with Terumi, or this is the same cat that tried to kill him....or it could be both reasons. Either way, both ideas are putting him a little on edge.]

[notakazuma]

[Kazuma? Who......oh.

Oh. Now he remembers. Jubei stays silent for a moment and nods.]

Jubei. Didn't get into any trouble, have ya?

[Jubei...] No, I...I just saw Ragna in the library. He thought I was you though.

[...] Have we ever met before...? Back home?

He probably didn't realize that you weren't either I'm bettin'.

[A sigh. What a pain in his neck. But now this question...well...]

Nah, we haven't. You may have heard of me I bet. I am one of the 'Six Heroes' and so on. Don't take it too seriously.

No...I'm sorry that I didn't tell him the truth. We don't...exactly get along.

[It's not his damn fault he looks the way he does.

Kazuma then blinks and looks at Jubei with surprise] You're...really? I've been told about them, but I never asked about who they were. [...Holy crap, he's in the body of one of the Six Heroes!?]

Day 10

One glance at Kazuma, and Noel... who is not really Noel 8|... already knows. And so, with that knowledge gained, he's given a look of indifference.]

No. I have not. [Even if the description is vaguely familiar. Hm.] ...who is it that you are looking for?

[Noel? Well there's no need to beat around the bush, Noel is a friend. But something seems oddly off about her. How would she not realize who he's looking for?]

I'm lookin' for myself, that's who. Noel, the town is acting up and I've been affected.

[There are... actually, there's a lot of things she could pick at with that sentence. She knows there's an experiment. But what does he mean himself? Is he referring to... no, that makes no sense. A five foot tall cat in an orange cat. Did he switch bodies with Kazuma?

But... more than that.] That name again... [Noel.]

I have been called it more than once, but it has no relation to me. I don't understand.

What are you talking about? Your name is Noel Vermillion. Have you been affected too?

[--Wait. This attitude. Now he realizes why it feels so off. She's acting robotic. Did the Malnosso activate the Murakumo unit within her? That isn't good, but she doesn't seem hostile either.]

...you're wrong. [This is definitely getting weird, but she assumes it must be something experiment related. That has to be the only reasoning behind this Noel... Vermillion thing.]

I am not sure who it is that you are, but my name has always been Mu.

[notakazuma]

[Yeah that's what he was afraid of. And he's no condition to fight if he makes her angry. Yet, she seems...rather solemn and without hostility.]

...Fine then. I guess you don't know who I am huh?

day 2

A-.. ah! [ Madoka can't help but be a little startled when something bumps into her, but.. it's fine, right? Yes, it's fine, so she's already moving to tell whatever bumped into her that it's fine, she doesn't mind..

But then she finds herself staring at something she didn't expect to see at all. For a few moments she seems near frozen in shock, but then she slowly starts to let out sounds - but they sound quiet and almost panicked, as if it's all she can do rather than actually talk. ]

[Jubei shakes his tiny head after bumping into her, trying to recompose himself, when he looks up and sees the girl's frightened expression.]

Hey kid, are you ok? Look like ya seen a ghost.

[happyends]

I-... [ Well, at least he doesn't talk like Kyuubey.. and he looks a little diferent, but at the very basis of it.. oh god, this is so weird.. ]

W--.. how did you get here..? Who are you?

Name's Jubei. And I got here by walkin'. [He swings his tail back and forth a couple things, wondering what she means. Did she recognize him?] Do I know ya kid?

[ Jubei sounds awfully close to Kyuubei, but at least he seems.. nice? But then again, so did Kyuubey at first.. ]

.. I-.. [ she shakes her head. ] Do you know Kyuubey, maybe..?

Kyuubey? Never heard of anyone with that name. Why, do I look like 'em?

Yes, you do, actually.. y-you look so much alike that it's almost a little scary..
