Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

Day 10

[Old Roku is still old by the last day of the experiment. He was returning from his travels out to the ocean and looking rather...content despite everything that has been happening the last few days.

So many different futures he has been told of, none of which have any drastic effect on him, but it's interesting to learn about how their world could have been for one person from another. He'll be walking down the path that leads to House 56 as he ponders over the past few days, not particularly paying attention to his surroundings.]

Day 10

[Aang is pacing around the road in fear, when he hears footsteps approaching. He looked and sees Roku walking straight towards him. Not the young Roku he had come to know and bro here in Luceti... it was the older Roku. Was he... back in the Spirit World? For now, he just stared.]

[Roku looks up for a moment and sees the young Avatar. He was no longer the adult he spoken to a few days back. Playing tricks on the poor boy again, Malnosso?]

Hello, Aang. You've returned as the young boy I remembered you as.

Roku. Roku. Hello, Roku!

[He nervously bows.]

So, you remember me... being like this? [Was he real? Was he really back home with Roku? He couldn't sort out any of the possibilities.]

[He raises an eyebrow] I do.

Is everything all right, Aang?

I'm just trying to make sure I'm... you know, here. [He looks around uncertainly.] Where are we right now, Roku?

[Aang's starting to make Roku a little concern here.]

We are currently in Luceti.

Luceti. And this isn't the Spirit World.

...No, it is not. Is my presence leading you to believe this was the Spirit world?

[He frets.]

No! Did I? You were... you were a teenager! I remember. We had bunk beds! ...Right?

You are correct. I was here when I was younger and we did share a room together. Much time has already passed back home for me since then. Though it seems like only a few days have passed here since I was last here in my youth.

That's... that's really confusing. But... it does match up with what I remember of you.

I apologize if I'm not clear enough on the details. Luceti has never exactly made much sense to begin with.

It hasn't, right? Then how do I know what's real at all?

[flameoroku]

... [He comes forward to Aang.] If you want to know what is real, think of your friends.

(The thought bubble finally appears, with the faces of Katara, Sokka, Zuko and Toph swirling around with Appa.)

Yeah, you're right. They... they have to be real. Maybe I am, too.

[Fear's grip on him starts to slip, and he does start smiling.]

[The sudden thought bubble over Aang's head actually takes him by surprise. That is new. It...seem harmless at least and demonstrating that he did get his point across.

A small smile as he looks back to Aang.]

No matter what they've done, you haven't forgotten them. Believe in your friends if there is nothing else.
