Here is your village shenanigans catch-all post, Luceti. Goings on with the decoys may of course also happen here! Just make sure everything is coordinated with the group so everyone knows what's up with everyone else. You may use the linked mod post or this to hep facilitate said coordination.

Additionally, please do backdate to the 19th if you wish!

[It was a whim, and he needed to take his mind away from the problem at hand for a short moment or three. His cigarettes were tucked away in a drawer with his Bryar and his Walther, but his fingers were fidgety. Mentally, emotionally, he was cool...but that was all.

Fear--no, caution--was a tool. He kept a grip on it.]

So, what do you think of all of this rain?

"Definitely putting a cramp in my style, but I'll deal with it. Looks like the storm could get pretty bad."

I was definitely talking about the rain. Honest. I swear.

Mmm. I hope we don't have too many problems from it.

[He sees your game and can play the same.]
quicktoanger: (Amused)

[personal profile] quicktoanger 2012-06-22 08:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I chuckled.

"Pretty sure we'll come out the other end okay. We've got a lot of folks here who're willing to help fix the damage."

Hey, we were one Avenger, two X-Men, and a Jedi down, but we still had one Avenger, one X-Man, and two Jedi on the ground. I put odds on us, for that one.

Also, there was me. I'm not the most subtle of magi, not much for the great spells that reshape reality and create legends... but damn if I can't break stuff.
redjacketthief: (too bad)

[personal profile] redjacketthief 2012-06-22 08:29 pm (UTC)(link)
That's true~

[He just wanted to talk, but appreciated the vote of confidence. Though calm, there was still an edge of uncertainty that kept him on high alert.]

...How about you? Get that sparking problem taken care of?
quicktoanger: (Grin)

[personal profile] quicktoanger 2012-06-22 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ah, not yet, but hey, I found myself something from home. Should be useful for keeping the damage at bay."

Oh really now? [Because, after the magic circle, he was curious.] Would it be cool if I took a look at it someday?
quicktoanger: (Grin)

[personal profile] quicktoanger 2012-06-23 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
"It would be entirely cool. I'm pretty good about practical demonstrations on request."
redjacketthief: @ narben (smirk-- challenge accepted)

[personal profile] redjacketthief 2012-06-23 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
Awesome--can't wait. [It was another motivation, a plan for something to do later. He needed that.]

That thing you showed me the other day...will that work in these kind of conditions?
quicktoanger: (Contemplate)

[personal profile] quicktoanger 2012-06-23 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
"You'll have to keep it dry. Running water would mess up the chalk."

And thus disrupt the circle.
redjacketthief: @ starkxravingxmad (smirk-- sly fox)

[personal profile] redjacketthief 2012-06-23 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
And if it's not made of chalk?
quicktoanger: (Neutral)

[personal profile] quicktoanger 2012-06-23 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
"It would still cross over the line."

The chalk wasn't the point. The barrier was. Even if running water didn't ground out magic, it would still physically disrupt the barrier, and that would kill it.

Rain was a problem even the most advanced wizards could have some trouble with.
redjacketthief: (dunno if i got that)

[personal profile] redjacketthief 2012-06-23 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
I see...

[So the rain drops were like bullets then. He would remember that for his experiments--nothing physical at all, including the weather.]

In light of all this, I regret not taking you up on the other offer...just a little~
quicktoanger: (Default)

[personal profile] quicktoanger 2012-06-23 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
"I'll see if I can't fix you up when the weather clears up."

I let the unspoken implication stand in the air. Because you will be here, and you will be alright.
redjacketthief: @ starkxravingxmad (smirk-- twisted)

[personal profile] redjacketthief 2012-06-23 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
[He knew this, but was making plans regardless to make certain of it. If he went in without plans for what to do after, he could make no guarantee of anything.]

Sweet. That'd be pretty spiffy. I'll let you do it on the one I'm gonna ask Keimi-chan to make for me when she gets back. My red one was trashed, but she's a seamstress...

It was a custom job anyway, and it doens't feel right if it's not like that again.
quicktoanger: (Grin)

AND THEN I USED THE WRONG ACCOUNT.

[personal profile] quicktoanger 2012-06-25 07:21 am (UTC)(link)
"Consider it done. Call it a return favor."

Y'know, for throwing yourself in harm's way for the village and all.
redjacketthief: (-glasses- would you look at that?)

FFFFFF.

[personal profile] redjacketthief 2012-06-25 05:24 pm (UTC)(link)
[Lupin could hear the words unspoken, and appreciated the sentiment. It would work. It had to.]

Thanks, man. I look forward to it.
