[He was on the floor of the Barracks--at least it was the Barracks, with nothing weird happening with it. The building was familiar domain for him, due to all of his time spent training with Smoker, but it was unfamiliar in the context of leaving someone else's bathroom.

Lupin glanced up from his position laying on the floor and watched the upside down Shepard in bemusement.]

Congrats, Shepard. This is your first Shift--and it's a really stupid one too!

'Really stupid' is putting it lightly. [Goddamn Malnosso and their screwing around.] And this is supposed to be one of the many things that could happen during a Shift?

Well, would you rather believe that you're in love with someone you hate? Because they did that to many people around here on Valentine's Day.

...Yeah, think I'll take this as the lesser of two evils. [And she sure as hell is gonna punch out the idea of being buddy-buddy with -- moreso the possibility of being anywhere close to -- Saren. >:|]

Good policy. This isn't even the worst either--last Halloween they dropped the moon on the village. I missed that one by a week!

Trying to figure out how we're supposed to get back. This is the umpteenth place I've wound up in thanks to this shit.

At the very least. Probably should have stayed in bed, though, if I'd known this crap would come up.

Yeah, but then this week would just be boring. Sometimes these things are fun...but they're mostly annoying.

If it means I can stand on proper ground, sure. [He'll be offered her hand. Unfortunately, this is more-or-less doomed to failure. :|

Why? When he does take hold, he might feel his feet giving way and gravity suddenly pulling him in the other direction. Fun. :|]

[He takes her hand and gives a mild tug to test the gravity--and pulls himself upward instead.]

What the-- [He grabs her hand with both of his as a safety precaution, lest he fall for the umpteenth time that week and be embarrassed yet again.] --ah shit! Just our luck, right?

[Have an annoyed-face courtesy of the snark queen, as she does her best to ensure Lupin doesn't botch his landing.] Just about. Now you've got my batshit gravity, too.

Think I could use a trip to the battledome once this bowls over...I could use a few things to punch out.

[The reorientation of his gravity set his vertigo for a loop, but he was able to keep upright so long as he held onto Shepard. His feet touched the ceiling with an odd grace, but he wasn't comfortable letting go of his new housemate and companion. Doing so might equal a worse fall than before.]

The battledome would be a great way to blow off steam. I need to reorient my aim anyway, and using a simulated gun doesn't waste slugs.

Of course, [there's a sly grin,] there are other ways to blow off steam too.

[And this would be that ever suspicious stare from your resident snark queen.] Gee, I wonder what those could be. [Not that she's getting the inkling that it has to do with anything sexual, but. Really, Lupin. She's onto ya and your antics. :|] It almost certainly couldn't involve me, now, could it?
