Event Log -- A Kin'coran Play-date

Who: Luceti vs. Kin’cora, preliminary social bout.
What: Luceti has been voluntold that they must host Kin’coran survivors of a Cultist invasion.
When: Kin’cora refugees will start arriving at the southern barrier around 12PM.
Where: Luceti, duh. All of it.
Summary: Can you still call it a humanitarian effort if not all of us are humans?
Rating: G to PG, folks. Take anything else to your appointments.

As described here. Couple things to keep in mind, folks!

Although the Kin’corans will arrive around noon, it’s a 30 mile trek from the southern barrier to the village. They do have some horses and carts but it will be a slow trickle into town, not a sudden flood.

Have fun with your NPCs. Remember -- if from a canon, they should be minor, off-screen characters. No one appable! If you have any doubts please err on the side of asking us.

Included below are some conversational snippets your characters can hear from various Kin’coran refugees. Additionally, your characters may be able to talk parts or all of a timeline for the Kin'coran enclosure out of the refugees. Use these instead of NPCs or in addition to them -- it’s up to you! Also remember to tag your [canon] character name to the log!

Days 1 to 4 - House 17 etc.

[25th to 27th]

[At first Beast isn't too bothered hearing about the rush of visitors coming to Luceti - they aren't the Malnosso, there shouldn't be a problem, right? He'll just hide in his house and hoard his supplies and trudge through like he always does, he should be fine... right?

Well, maybe he would have been if a group of five refugees didn't learn that he's all alone in his house... and after being crammed in a small house not suited for their number, House 17 is looking pretty damn good right now. So not long after the people start arriving, Beast receives a not too quiet knock on his door and finding a Frenchman coming at him with a pitchfork as soon as he opens it. This is far too familiar. Thankfully, three of these people manage to hold off the one man and the houseowner eventually agrees that yes, he will let them stay and they can share his food and the rooms and electricity.

Sometime on the 26th, people over the journals will then find that Beast's journal is currently not in his hands and is instead being examined by his roommates. Lucetians will likely see the faces of a big-bodied man in a leather jacket and a woman with very light white hair, asking and complaining about Beast's "privileges" in the village.

As the days progress, however, Beast finds his supplies diminishing further and further, the visitors consuming the most of it while he is left with little to nothing... and slowly but surely he can see they're running out of water, too. At around midnight on the 28th, when he can't sleep due to them having a "secret meeting" in the parlour, he finally confronts them.

"Can't I even get some sleep?"
"You get sleep all the time, crépu, I'm sure you can handle it."
"What about my food? You said you wanted to share! I haven't eaten anything!"
"Yeah well it's time you learn what it's like to be lacking something."
"You should consider yourself lucky. I'm surprised they let a clébard like you have an entire house to yourself to begin with."
"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"
"Oh we're not going anywhere... 'Beast'."

After a conversation that continues much the same, with no satisfying end whatsoever, Beast decides that if they won't leave, he will. He soon after escapes out the window with a sackful of his precious possessions, with his rose in its bell jar under his arm, and spends the rest of the night trying to find a place outside to rest.]

[28th]

[The next day, Beast is still wandering aimlessly, gradually losing more and more strength as his hunger, thirst, and sleeplessness grows, not to mention the lack of power he already feels... and mentally he's just far too overwhelmed. Life in Luceti is just too much right now. He is mostly around the outskirts of the village to avoid most of the refugees, eventually reaching Cherry Blossom Tree Hill and the farmlands.]

((OOC: Apologies for the lateness and the tl;dr tag. Your character can catch Beast any time during these days, be it via his journal with the other House 17 residents, trying to visit his house while he's still there, or meeting him along his trek to the farm. After that he will be staying with Luke and Obi-Wan at said farm.))

[Wow, time sure does fly by when you're busy. Was it past midnight already? Rudy couldn't tell himself as he finally finishes up his work at the Welcome Center, however unintentionally he ended up staying. Many many things kept him busy, and it's about time to call it a night. It's getting late, after all.

He was on his way back home until he notices something a little off. It's a little difficult to see outside with the lack of any lamps, but... is it just him, or was there someone lingering around out there?]
