Event Log -- A Kin'coran Play-date

Who: Luceti vs. Kin’cora, preliminary social bout.
What: Luceti has been voluntold that they must host Kin’coran survivors of a Cultist invasion.
When: Kin’cora refugees will start arriving at the southern barrier around 12PM.
Where: Luceti, duh. All of it.
Summary: Can you still call it a humanitarian effort if not all of us are humans?
Rating: G to PG, folks. Take anything else to your appointments.

As described here. Couple things to keep in mind, folks!

Although the Kin’corans will arrive around noon, it’s a 30 mile trek from the southern barrier to the village. They do have some horses and carts but it will be a slow trickle into town, not a sudden flood.

Have fun with your NPCs. Remember -- if from a canon, they should be minor, off-screen characters. No one appable! If you have any doubts please err on the side of asking us.

Included below are some conversational snippets your characters can hear from various Kin’coran refugees. Additionally, your characters may be able to talk parts or all of a timeline for the Kin'coran enclosure out of the refugees. Use these instead of NPCs or in addition to them -- it’s up to you! Also remember to tag your [canon] character name to the log!

Cloud Nine

Archie's subjects might be a little more docile than some, considering he'll give them booze rations twice a day. If he's watering down the rum, who cares? But the people staying on the floor of Cloud Nine range between grudgingly grateful and hostilely bitter. When someone gets out of line, fortunately, Archie can usually go into lieutenant mode and get them to shut up or leave. He's dealt with living aboard the Renown, so he can handle this.

On the 29th, the shouts start up. People start banging at the club door, demanding to be let in. Eventually they simply take the door off its hinges and bust in, armed with whatever makeshift weapons they can find, accusing the staff of Cloud Nine of hoarding food and holding out on them.

The Bakery

Peeta decides the bakery will serve as just another source of food, the way it generally always has. Flour doesn't do a lot of good by itself. Luceti will have bread and rolls of various types, especially if he can throw in some foraged nuts or fruit to make things last. Toward the end of the week, he starts mixing the flour with cornmeal, oats, any grain he can find to make things last.

The Bakery - let's say, Wednesday?

[Squirrel and goose meat had been dropped off, both at home and at the grocery. It's only mid-afternoon but it almost feels so much later. Hunting is supposed to be enjoyable. A distraction. Something to keep her occupied, to keep her going from day to day.

But the refugees worry her. She doesn't like leaving Peeta alone for long.

At least she has something to show for her efforts. The bag is heavy with nuts and seeds, wearing almost a pound, as she places it on the counter.]

It's all I could find today.

Orphanage

[After enough of the villagers trickle in, it's hard not to notice the abundance of parentless children. Nephry knows that others are seeing this as well - it's evident from their faces, and the way some have started semi-clustering the children, one way or the other.

Keeping in mind that some of these refugees are hostile, Nephry intends to approach those who look like they would help with the following points:

- It could get dangerous if tempers escalate, and lone children without guardians might be in danger.
- They are likely better off together in one place, for safety and for companionship reasons.
- The orphaned children group is relatively small - what space could they all occupy together without taking up an inordinate amount of room?

And once that's all worked out, they can start gathering those who will follow them.]

Re: Orphanage

[For the sake of harmony in House 34, it's a very good thing that this orphanage was started up. Without it, Grune would have attempted to bring every single lost child to her home, and between a four year old who's never had to share attention before and a tetchy giant bird, it just wouldn't have ended well.

Instead, for the moment, Grune is bringing said lost children to the Welcome Center. As it fills up, however, another solution may need to be found....

Catch Grune all week caring for the children in the orphanage with lots of love and cuddles, looking for any kids who may have escaped their notice, and still trying to tend to her garden (presided over by the angry bird since one too many Kin'corans started sniffing around the vegetable patch) and the Memory Garden.]

The School/Butchery + Announcements

Anyone who has signed up to hunt or who has any intentions of hunting, please come see me at the school. We're working to coordinate just how much meat needs to be taken in a day and to make sure that nothing gets left behind in the forest. Thank you.

Guests Who Had Been Staying in Kin'cora
Welcome to Luceti. I'm truly sorry for any and all of the circumstances that brought you here. This is a terrible situation, but if we all work together we can make the best of it. The Malnosso have announced to us that we will not be receiving any more supplies until the Cultist threat is lifted, so the entire enclosure is on rations. If anyone among you wishes to hunt or fish, please come see Katara or Major Richard Sharpe at the "School."

In our forest is a very powerful wolf god who protects it. While we have worked out an arrangement with her, it is extremely dangerous for anyone else to enter the forest. Your help in providing for yourself and others is welcome, but in order to hunt safely, you must be a part of an official hunting party.

[The school has been transformed into a make-shift "butchery." While the power was still at half-cap, Katara had Aang make a large pit for offal which they will later be able to cover, and two other pits, one rimmed with ice, one filled with ice. The ice is covered with some canopies taken from the Item Shop, but she still has to go out there every half hour or so to refreeze it in order to keep the refreezing manageable. It's exhausting, but hopefully it will be worth it.

And at the butchery is exactly where Katara will be, engaging in work that she has been doing and hating her entire life. Hopefully people will come by and pick up their hunting vouchers. Hopefully she'll get to talk to some Kin'corans who'll want to help. Hopefully everything will turn out okay.]

Richard Sharpe cleaned a wicked-bladed knife on a ragged cloth already stained with animal blood. He leaned back on his heels. "Miss Katara? Got a few more cuts ready for boxing, lass."

He sniffed and cuffed at his cheek with the edge of his shirtsleeves. The green jacket was long ago abandoned, hung over the back of a chair.

[ sharpe will be splitting his time between the makeshift butchery and the grocery store. at the latter location, he'll be helping pepper pots in stocking up the meat that was butchered elsewhere.

various game and prey has been tucked away in the store's cold storage. sharpe counted; pepper took note. he also did his best to move things around to better accomodate what was coming into the place.

[The village is busy long before the refugees arrive, and that includes Pepper. She goes by the Welcome Center before meeting Sharpe at Good Spirits, then together the pair head for the grocery store. She's more than a little nervous, but it's hard to tell. She's Tony's laptop and her in a bag on her shoulder, and a notepad and pen in hand for taking notes as they go along.

Unfortunately, there's a obvious lack even as they get started: gaps on the shelves, from where people had done their normal shopping the days before.]

It looks like things weren't restocked last night.

Ocean Fishery

[Shortly after the Malnosso makes their announcement, Sokka gathers up supplies on Appa to fly over to the beach, with whoever else planned to go along with him. It was a one way trip, since Appa was sent back immediately. There was no way to feed the bison on this side of the mountains. If the power cap kept Appa from flying, it was best that he be on the side with a forest to munch on.

The Ocean Spirit had been repaired after the hurricane, but not seen a lot of use of late. Today it's being made to be made for the sea again. With the addition of Law's nets and some of their own, it's being converted for fishing. Fortunately Water Tribe boats were designed primarily for this purpose, so it was no difficult task to make the adjustments needed. For the few hours before the power cap sets in, the goal is to catch as many as they can with the usage of powers. After that, it's back to the old fashioned way.

The week will be spent in this way for the most part. The day spent out on the ocean, the evening being spent sorting the fish for shipment, and the nights camping on the beach. Sokka will try to make it home for some of the nights, but practical reasons just makes it pretty unfeasible. He will be in the village for all of the 29th, though. Helping out and keeping an eye on the smithy. Just in time for it to be raided and all (but there may be a separate log for that?).

Sokka has his journal on him the entire time, though. So even if he's not in the village, he can be contacted at any time.]

[Toothless is too tired to fly back tonight, and even if he wasn't, Hiccup doesn't want to leave Sokks out there alone. Not that he was worried, but bros got to be there for each other, you know?

So Hiccup throws another log on the fire, leaves a note for his housemates that he won't be back tonight, and settles down to lean against his sleeping dragon. He lets Kyle out of her Pokeball to run around a bit, too.]

[When Raine isn't assisting other efforts (she will be seen around the orphanage, should anyone wish to approach her there, also and on hand for the clinics should someone call for an emergency medic--and they're welcome to do so), most of Raine's attention will be centered around making sure information gets out to the new arrivals, should any actually be directed to her for questions - those that had been made aware of the guide certainly make an effort to flag her down, so she tries to remain in the more public areas to assist them. She also will be at the flower shop, trying to help keep it organized particularly when people start to rummage through it thinking that it's secretly hiding more food.

Which will be quite stressful to deal with, so anyone wishing to assist would be a help, particularly since these people aren't entirely happy or accepting of what they hear from her.

She also has other efforts to see to, as particularly after a certain message is broadcast, she has been taking the time out of the craziness to sneak down to the tunnels, to keep an eye out for Katie, which may or may not be noticed, with everything else going on.]

[Just a normal day outside. Even with the announcement of refugees. Cloche was curious enough about who would be in these other enclosures, so she was waiting it out at the plaza's fountain to wait and see what would happen.

What happened once refugees started coming into town was incredibly unexpected. While she was content to read a book outside the fountain while waiting, she was very surprised to hear two words from across the way:]

L-Lady Cloche?! Lady Cloche!

[It damn near made Cloche drop her book into the fountain!

Looking up from her book, she was almost instantly mobbed by a group of I.P.D.s' from her own world. There will be a lot of questions containing "Lady Cloche" shot at her from here on out.]

[Seeing such a mob of people makes Hiro want to investigate! He slips through the throng and stands next to Cloche.]

Career Camp, Western Lake

[It's doesn't take long.

By the morning of the 26th, Clove has abandoned the village. Her hijacking photograph, hunting knife, vest of knives, rope, and fishing hooks and wire are all she takes.

The village has too many people now. Too many strangers. It's calling up too many memories. If she hasn't seen a tribute from the bloodbath or a girl from the Academy, she's seen people who look very like them. She doesn't know who these people are or how to handle them. She knows what the Malnosso said -- refugees from another enclosure. So, she has chosen the path of least resistance that feels safest to her: evasion.

The Career camp is her haven.

Out in the forest, near the placid lake, it is still. She can close her eyes and almost think it's that first night. Twelve of them left, an alliance of six. She can pretend like the odds are in her favor.

She sets up her fishing lines and knots the rope into a pretty decent net. Gillian, the girl from Four who'd been in their pack, had taught her in the Arena. It was a crude attempt, but she placed it over the bushes nearby to try and catch birds. Her attempts at snares are even more messy, but they are a genuine attempt. She's not sure she'll catch anything, but she can try.

Whatever it takes to go to the village as little as possible.]

Re: Career Camp, Western Lake

[It's thirty minutes before Cato returns from walking about a fourth of the lake perimeter. It'd be the first time he'd done it. His sword is wrapped and sheathed on his back and there's one of Clove's bigger knives on his hip. Just in case. He looked happy.]

I saw some pigs running around on the other side of the lake a few minutes ago.

[They were actually hogs but...details. Clove would know what he meant.

If he were very honest with himself, the idea of hunting was appealing. Plus it was something to do. He didn't, however, know how well it'd be in practice. There were so many triggers around here. The lake, the woods...his District partner.

Clove was more of a soothing element than anything else. For the first few weeks she'd kept him grounded - in a sense. Kept him from snapping. She hadn't stopped doing that either. ]

[She hasn't been happy at all this week. The idea that another enclosure had been attacked bothers her. The idea that half the population died worries her even more. Would it carry over here? The fighting, the death?

It's almost painful to leave Peeta's side each morning to go hunting. But while Katniss could care less for the new arrivals, the refugees, the people of Luceti aren't so bad. At least, some of them are. She's seen Hollow Days in District Twelve too many times. There were the refugees, herself included, in Thirteen. Though their methods had felt draconian, they had been practical. But they’re not anything she’d ever want to live through again.

She spends most of her time in the woods avoiding the refugees. Sometimes she thinks she sees a familiar face. She tries her best to ignore that. It's easier to hunt and gather. Her focus remains mostly on squirrel and fowl, with attempts at something bigger every now and then. And the plants – anything even remotely edible. She does give particular focus to nuts and seeds, though. Things Peeta can use in the bakery.

When not in the forest, she’s either dropping off excess food at the grocery store or at the bakery, trying to assist Peeta in any way she can. That, she tells herself, she’s doing for him. In fact, most of her activities, she’s doing for Peeta’s sake.

She won’t let him starve.]

[she'd been avoiding the woods even more than usual after the whole fiasco with the talking trees, but the combination of patrolling and tempermental refugees had sent her further away from the village, grateful for a bit of peace and quiet.

Besides. There'd been talk about people going missing. Not all that surprising, the way half the refugees seemed determined to try and set up some kind of isolationist crap, but Buffy would be checking it out and, honestly, Faith wouldn't have been able to rest without heading out, too.

It was the right thing to do, after all.]

[Getting used to only 10% Slayer strength was far from fun. As the week continued, Faith's temper crept closer and closer to the surface with every task that should have been effortless that (for now) wasn't.

The crowds of people didn't really help. With living space limited, she'd been forced to share her apartment with a Kin'Coran roommate who was driving her absolutely up the wall. Frankly, she thought she deserved points for not killing her already.

To avoid revisiting murderous tendencies, she can be found wandering more often than usual. Patrols were suddenly longer, as were training sessions at the battle dome, and her free time was usually spent lingering around Good Spirits or Cloud Nine.]

I'm sorry, Faith.

[On the 29th, Clove has to come back to the village. She's out of matches.

She walks from the forest, having taken a round-about way. Just to not lead anyone back straight to the camp and to Cato. Sure, Cato can protect himself, but... it's her camp. It's her shelter. She wants it safe. She wants him safe.

Still, she's not terribly worried. She's carrying her pack. Now, things aren't free. She's sure of that. She has eggs on top, fish, and meat. She has things to trade. Bread and matches. That's what she wants.

Sure, Twelve and Lover Boy probably have plenty of meat, but... it's a good will gesture. Maybe she can get something for the effort. By way of bread.

Something's wrong, though. She knows it as soon as she's at the plaza edge. Something is wrong. Something--

She hears it a second before it happens. She throws herself back and to the side just as something comes at her. An axe -- crudely made, obviously hand-fashioned, but lethal all the same -- has buried in the ground right beside her. She looks up and sees a familiar boy. A boy she killed in the Arena. District 7. The first kill of the 74th Hunger Games.

Clove pulls out a knife from her vest. He has something in his other hand. Something to bludgeon with. She only half aims. It buries in his leg, sends him down ten feet from her. She growls deep in her throat, an animalistic sound, and launches into a run. Her pounce is almost canine, and she lands on him, her teeth bared. They struggle, but she's stronger. She's been trained for this. She hasn't forgotten that she is a Career.

Finally, she has him. Has him down. The leather strap holding her hunting knife fights her, but she gets it out. She's learned from Twelve. No Game here. No showmanship. Kill him now. She throws him down when he tries to get up and raises the knife.]

Random Place near the forest

[Luce has set up a few boxes to stand on and is doing something we're sure no one here wants to hear and that is just preaching.]

The problem is, is that many of among us has lost faith. It is why bad things happen, we are fallible creatures and need to work on getting back to our root- to our spirituality and proper diety.

[He can't even switch fully into phoenix right now (thanks power cap, you suck) but he'll just... hang out. And look menacing. And make sure nothing bad happens.]

[Like a lot of people, Rudy's been helping around the temporary orphanage set up at the Welcome Center, with him occasionally running out to do errands. That, as well as bringing back any lone children lost in the massive crowds of Kin'coran refugees. As expected, there's a lot of them!

Surprisingly, some of the refugees were also from Filgaia. Some were ones he'd accepted jobs from in the past; others were fellow drifters like himself. Even so, none of them were people he really knew. And at the very least it's no one he's on not-so-pleasant terms with... at least none that he's seen yet. That may or may not change soon.

There's a few places he'll be hitting up for supplies: the grocery store, bakery, as well as the clothing store and bazaar. They're getting harder and harder to find as time goes on, but for now he'll be trying to gather whatever necessities that are available still. Then when he's finished, Rudy will make his way back to the Welcome Center. But with Luceti in general being so crowded right now, the trip back might or might not be so easy.]

[Grune is pretty much living at the Welcome Center at this point. Even the most well-adjusted children get anxious when someone who's been providing love and attention wanders off in a situation like this, after all. But, well, everyone is getting a little bit hungry....

When she sees Rudy come back with supplies, she gets up from her position on the floor to go greet him.]

Haymitch finds it sickening. Where he's from, people fought the hunger by keeping their lips tight and their chins up.

For now, the bar is a place for refuge. He sits at the counter while the people come and go. When he does overhear a Kin’cora refugee griping over their have-nots, he isn't shy about expressing his opinions. ]

If you put as much effort into survival as you do complaining, there may be some hope for you.

[ That's a kind reply before there's any shortage on booze. ]

[Before the refugees arrive, Aang apparently is sent into the forest to seek an audience with Moro. Maybe that happens here I don't know.

But after the refugees arrive, Aang's conflict begins. Here he is, with severely limited bending that makes getting around all the more tedious. But he still sees all these suffering people, shattered by a harsh war which is an uncomfortable remind of the way things were back home, and he sees his duty as the Avatar.

So Aang will be patrolling primarily around the town to try to help refugees settle in peacefully and trying to break up disputes wherever they occur. Although he does patrol the forest to make sure things are okay and possibly checks up on Katara at the school, he tries to avoid these areas as much as possible due to the hunting and the after-effects of it; he may respect his non-vegetarian friends' diets, but that doesn't mean he can stomach a front row seat of the process.

As Aang patrols, he tries to get the other Avatars to come and help him out. The more the better, right? Korra's away to help with the fishing crew initially (with a chance of returning later on), but there's a chance he'll still be accompanied by Roku as he makes his rounds.]

[As Aang patrols, he may well run into Zuko doing about the same thing he's been doing. Zuko, however, is trying to stay away from disputes; he knows well enough that he can make them worse without even meaning to.

As it is, he's scurrying from one end of the village to the other, helping where he can. Say hello?]

[He can't assume his partial demon form. It's weird, that when he draws Kurikara, he still doesn't assume it. Hell, he can only barely generate flames right now. Or well, more accurately, as far as he knows he can't at all, because he can't seem to force it. This leaves him with only (hah, only) how much strength and healing power he has in his normal form conventionally. But that's enough. He can't do flashy things like leap to the barrier or over the mountains, but it's enough.

He's going to be running himself ragged the whole event out of empathy.

Possible Situations
-Collecting forest items to help out Precis on one of the first days (which probably means avoiding being eaten by Moro)
-Working at Seventh Heaven, cooking up things by Sanji's direction. He's no idea how to do rationing (normally his limits were in what they could afford) but he's trying
-Breaking up fights. Rin is going to leap into literally every confrontation he sees to try to get the people to stop fighting - shouting and shoving and stuff. He literally refuses to fight the Kin'corans (that is, "fighting" without throwing a punch) though until there's some mitigating thing like them being a demon that works under Satan from his world. If he preceives someone from Luceti started the fight he's liable to hit them, if one of the refugees did, he'll either scold, urge them to take out their aggression on him, or both.

These situations are going to last all week as he tries to skip out on his usual eleven hours of sleep (cutting down to more like six) and thus being out increasingly late, just not early. He's also getting by on one meal a date, probably because someone urged him.]

[Somewhere down the line? While probably outrunning her mob of a fan club, Cloche will find Rin.

She will find Rin and hide behind him.]

[To the I.P.D's following her, they stop and stare at Cloche, and then at Rin. Whispers of "Ehhh? Is this her protector here?" to "Is this who Lady Cloche's partner might be here?!" are running through the group. That could be bad. But she needs a reason to get away from them...]

Y... yes! Yes, he's my partner here! So... please! Leave me alone with him! If... if there were a Dive Machine here, he'd be Diving all the way to Level 7! In one go!

[That just sends more whispers through the group.]

[with her cooking skill, she probably should be assisting there. But before she's a cook, she's the leader of her SOS Brigade. So on the first few days,her Brigade's HQ is full open doors for refugees. Her or other people are there to talk to, play games with, or whatever people who come in. At night she's got a few sleeping bags and other beds made of the clothes in the closet layed out in the front and back rooms. She isn't worried about anything being broken or stolen. The other things worth taking which would be harder to replace are Leon's Barrel, the pachinko machines, and the photocopier - all of which would be impractical and pointless to lug out.

When she isn't doing that, or has other members of her Brigade doing that, she's doing what she informed the Brigade who wasn't otherwise occupied they were doing (via a meeting in the six hours before or a journal message)- preparing a baseball field between the village and the mountains, and then putting up fliers for it. [Pascal runs over and instantly starts looking through all the things the Turtlez brought with him. Maybe the other enclosure had some cool sort of metal or machine part she can't grab here, it won't hurt to look.]

No one has any gald or any sort of money here, buuut if I take some of this junk off your hands can you stamp my card anyway? [Even if the answer is 'no' it's a bit late for that. Pascal already has her hands on something that caught her eye.] Hey, Sophie, want to lend a hand carrying this stuff back home?

[Luke hadn't really been planning on giving up the one empty room he and Xion have, if only because the latter isn't here right now and he feels it'd be wrong to just house someone without her knowing about it.

But as he walks through the Kin'coran refugees, idly hearing snippets of unsettling conversation before they quiet down or trying to talk to them, he sees one woman that looks only vaguely familiar to him. The fact that it was even vague at all makes him freeze in his tracks and head to her, and it's only after some conversation that he realizes who this is.

That's right. Paul's mother, Pyrope's wife. The woman who lost everything, and it was all because of him.

Guilt stirs in his chest; she looks tired, scared, thin and hungry. So he smiles and tells her of the empty room, and she smiles and complies. After all, she didn't know what he'd done. He isn't sure what she'd do if she did.]


[When Luke isn't talking to Miriam and making sure she stays out of trouble, he's out and about doing what he can for everyone else.

He'll mostly be with Brave Vesperia, either just talking lowly with the members or working with them, or even moving out to do whatever he's told. He'll also speaks with the Blue Rogues; the Kin'corans were a lot more suspicious of everyone than he thought, and he'd like to know what everyone else has been hearing.

Sometimes he'll go to Seventh Heaven and try to help Sanji serve food for people. He's not the greatest cook, so he probably won't be needed in the kitchen itself. But he'll at least be serving food with a smile, and idly think to himself just how backwards this is compared to his life in the past.

And, of course, if any fights break out, he'll be there to break them up. He'll also be by the outskirts of the forest, trying to hunt for animals to add to the food supply. But... unfortunately, he's not good at hunting at all, so more often that not he'll just end up chasing an animal and not getting anywhere at all with it. Without his power, he can't just stun them with an attack and then move in for the kill, as much as he hates it. Man, it's all such a pain...]

['Sup Luke, guess who else is helping out in Seventh Heaven? Emil's mostly been keeping to the kitchen, but when there's a spare moment he'll slip out to help serve food as well-- whatever he can do to help. It's on one of these trips that he spots Luke and waves to his friend.]

[Estelle will be running around the various groups of refugees, trying to help in her own way. This mostly consists of healing whatever wounds that the newcomers may have suffered during the attacks.

Some are grateful, others are reluctant, and some downright refuse her help. She does managed to overheard some disturbing mutterings from some of the Kin'Corans, but she says nothing if she can help it. Yet it is a bit worrisome to her.

The fact that she's carrying around her sword, per Yuri's request, doesn't seem to ease their suspicions about her either. Much to Estelle's dismay. Plus with the power cap, it takes much longer for Estelle to heal people than normal. Not to mention she can't heal the more serious ones and has to refer them to the clinic. Still, she's doing her best.

Eventually she comes across a group of what appears to be black and grey dogs, which she'll later find out are hyenas, a couple of them licking their wounds. She quickly runs up to them.]

Oh, let me help! I can heal you.

[This is only met with bared teeth and snarls.]

Getcha' dirty human hands away from me!

Yeah, we don' need ya help!

Beat it, or we'll make a snack outta ya!

[ The village was in chaos. No matter where he went, it just felt like he couldn't escape it. Even his own house was hectic. Low supplies, sudden refugees...no way this was all a coincidence, right? Too much shit going on at once. Not to mention...these refugees weren't very grateful. Arguments, squabbles, even fights took place everywhere. And Hinata had found himself caught up in a few of them trying to keep the peace. Bruised and sore all over, he continued to make his way through the village.

Normally, these wounds wouldn't bother him (it's not like they were noticable thanks to his blazer), but it felt like, for some reason...they weren't healing. Not like usual. What was going on?

The sound of voices shook him out of his thoughts, causing him to look over. A girl was offering aid to...wolves? He couldn't tell. Her words were followed by snarls and yells, causing his eyes to narrow. Really? Was this really the time for this sort of thing? He moved closer, putting a hand on the girl's shoulder.

...Wait, what was he gonna say to her anyway? At any rate, they weren't looking friendly. Getting her away before a conflict broke out might be for the best. ]

[Hiro will be people-watching throughout the days, observing the various Kin'corans as they go about town. Should anyone appear to need help, he'll try his best to help them (mostly reuniting separated friends), but for the most part his offers of help are being rebuffed by the distrustful Kin'corans.

So, having been rejected quite a few times, Hiro sits by the fountain, simply people-watching as he was before.]

She's manning the Avatar Houses, fluttering between them while everyone else has big important assigned jobs to watch Jinora and Tahno as well as who they have invited to live in the house... or she has, at least. It's been her call at least for the one the three future teens live in. So she's basically playing den matron, and you might be with her at the house or see her flickering between the two.

At least (due to Sokka stores? Due to everyone else bringing them things? Both?) there isn't a huge starvation concern here]

She may find him flopped down on the couch as she flitters back and forth, eyes closed and slack-jawed, because every good Fire Lord is always dignified.

[I can make no promises for where Masaomi is before about the 29th, so let's count that out. From then on though, he's got nothing he can do to relieve the town other than eat less, so he's gotten into the whole Soldiering Thing that some people have proposed. After all, if the TPs come back in there's a good chance that they're in for some hell here.

His patrol/scout efforts are mostly focused on the forests south of the village, same as where the KCs came from, directional wise. He's here with his mouse, scouting the skies and the ground... also curiously checking little holes in trees.

May or may not be accompanied by Shikamaru, other people, or (most interestingly) some KCs who agreed they needed to be wary of the TPs more than Luceti, whatever they think of the blessings this enclosure has. So he's with a group of one to three people aside from him much of the time, but you might catch him solo too.
