Event Log -- A Kin'coran Play-date

Who: Luceti vs. Kin’cora, preliminary social bout.
What: Luceti has been voluntold that they must host Kin’coran survivors of a Cultist invasion.
When: Kin’cora refugees will start arriving at the southern barrier around 12PM.
Where: Luceti, duh. All of it.
Summary: Can you still call it a humanitarian effort if not all of us are humans?
Rating: G to PG, folks. Take anything else to your appointments.

As described here. Couple things to keep in mind, folks!

Although the Kin’corans will arrive around noon, it’s a 30 mile trek from the southern barrier to the village. They do have some horses and carts but it will be a slow trickle into town, not a sudden flood.

Have fun with your NPCs. Remember -- if from a canon, they should be minor, off-screen characters. No one appable! If you have any doubts please err on the side of asking us.

Included below are some conversational snippets your characters can hear from various Kin’coran refugees. Additionally, your characters may be able to talk parts or all of a timeline for the Kin'coran enclosure out of the refugees. Use these instead of NPCs or in addition to them -- it’s up to you! Also remember to tag your [canon] character name to the log!

[Afer a bad encounter with a Pokemon, Aang is heading into the med lab with a bite wound. Part of his robe has been ripped off and is being used as a makeshift bandage. Since his robes act sleeves, it's quite visible, and there's possible some visible red staining.

For a short version, Silver has already taken some precautions to help Silver. He fed him a special berry which would help dull the pain and speed up the recovery process with a lesser chance of infection. He also applied pressure with a handkerchief to keep the wound from bleeding out and did some cleaning. It's still better to check in with a professional, though, especially if Aang is intent on going back out there. So he seeks out his favorite healer.]

[Katara's been in contact with people during the day, as she's been between the school, the places wounded Kin'corans were hiding, and the Med Lab. So she shouldn't too hard to track down. Pick your setting and approach!]

[He goes for the med lab, hoping she's there so that he wouldn't have to try to stomach seeing all the meat at the school. Once there, he sees unfamiliar faces as he nervously seeks out Katara.]

[Well, fortunately enough for Aang, he won't have to look around long. Katara was just finishing up and heading out, and she paused when she saw him on the way in.]

Aang? [Oh no, that's definitely blood. She hurries over.] What happened?

[He frowns and holds up the arm.]

I got bit.

By what?

[She comes over to take hold of his arm.]

A Pokemon. One that was like a big rat. [Ratikid? Rattekad? These names are hard to remember.] Silver took care of it a little, but I thought you should have a look at it too.

Who's Pokemon-- you know what? Nevermind.

[She frowned.]

Come sit down.

[He nodded and seated quietly himself nearby, with his arm outstretched, used to the healing process (even if it usually wasn't for a wound like this). He didn't really have a good idea of who the owner was anyway, beyond Silver's bare bones explanation about them being criminals from his world.]

[She unwraps the handkerchief.]

That looks like it hurts.

It... it kinda does. But Silver gave me a special berry that made it hurt less.

[She frowns at that.]

What kind of "special berry?"

[She can't give him any medicine unless she knows what he's already ingested.]

I- I don't know what they were called, but he told me what they do. The first berry was because one Pokemon that looked like a bat did something that made my head hurt, and I was so confused I accidentally hit myself. But that berry got rid of that so my head was clear again. The second berry... he just said that it dulls pain and it'd help the bite to heal faster. And it did make it hurt less.

[That's not very helpful, Aang. She reached for some antiseptic.]

Did he give you the name of either of these berries?

[But it's as much as he knows.]

He... didn't really say. Maybe I could try to ask him, as long as he's not mad.

No, that's okay. [She looked up at him, seeking his gaze.] Are you in a lot of pain?

[savedtheworld]

N-not really. It's more like an ache, now.

[markofthebrave]

[She starts cleaning it out.]

No lightheadedness or dizziness? Are you feeling nauseous?

[Anything like you've been poisoned?]

[He focuses on Katara and tries not to look at his arm.]

No, I feel pretty okay.

[markofthebrave]

Okay, then I'm just going to clean it for now and check to make sure you're not infected. I want you to rest for the rest of the day, and I'll see what I can do when I get home. Okay?

[He looks down. He messed up, and now he might not be able to help anyone else for the rest of the day.]

But... I can't just do nothing, with everything going on.

You won't be doing nothing. You'll be taking care of yourself, which will be a huge relief for me. And you'll be able to spend some time with Jinora, maybe give Asami a break.

[He takes a moment to think it over before he nods. At least he can keep Jinora safe.]

Alright, Katara. I'll do it. I'll make sure me and Jinora are okay. [He'll have to leave peacekeeping to Roku for now.] And I'll... see if there's any rations around the house that I can get ready.
