EVENT LOG: SCAVENGER HUNT

Who: All you scavenger hunters!
What: Scavenging and other fantabulousness, I suppose.
When: November 24th to 28th
Where: The whole village! And yet also all over time and space...

As announced by CJ, the village's immediate environs are divided up according to this map. There are five areas: the Nile, Ice Age, Space Opera, Shogunate, and Gangland. Time-and-place appropriate architecture and conjured up NPCs exist in each area.

Don't forget the scavenger hunt! While actually finding things is ultimatly optional, you can find more information on the hunt here. If you want to claim a reward from the hunt, be sure to link at least two related threads on the new rewards claims post.

Finally, here's a quick rundown of the objects:
- In THE NILE: A ceremonial dagger and a piece of Pharoah's treasure
- In GANGLAND: A tommy gun and a set of car keys
- In ICE AGE: A bone spear and a smilodon's tooth
- In SPACE OPERA: a raygun and part of a robot
- In SHOGUNATE: a samurai sword and water from a kappa's head

EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

[Pinkie wakes up on the first day in Gangland, and is dressed to impress. An ink-black bowler derby sits atop her head, with a matching bow tie tied around her neck. Clearly not the least bit surprised, the pony is quick to begin wandering the area, sneaking about when things get dangerous. Of course, playing the role of a prohibition-era gangster, Pinkie is also quick to talk smack to the local gangsters in a gruff, painfully fake Brooklyn accent. At some point in the day, she'll manage to sneak a tommy gun off of one of the mooks walking about, quickly modifying it to suit her personal tastes.

On the second day, she makes her way to the Ice Age, instantly befriending one of the local mammoths with a musical number about them both being four-legged beasts of burden with a passion for musical theater and sugar. Astonishingly, she isn't wrong. Want to fight some cavemen with her? She's totally taking all their funny stuff when she wins, though.

Day three, she adventures into the Nile, unfortunately alone. Poor Mammy will be too hot to adventure in the desert, so she promises to make this journey a quick one. Expect to see the gangster pony running through the sand, or sneaking through a pyramid. Her Pinkie Sense means she's unlikely to fall in a trap, but she might end up dressing as a mummy for laughs. She'll get what she needs quickly to get back to the Ice Age and meet up with Mammy.

Day four! Space Opera time! Those fancy laser pistols are no match for Mammy and Pinkie, who has added a rather familiar robe to her wardrobe. She'll spend most of the day playing laser tag and fighting robots and aliens. This is the best place ever!

Day five, the Shogunate calls. An unjust land where honor falls beneath money and social status. Only one hero could possibly save this region from their own darkness: Pinkie Pie: Gangster Samurai!]

Day 1, OPPA GANGLAND STYLE

[Luke's living in Gangland himself, since Pinkie is his neighbor anyway, but unlike her his clothes have shifted into a period appropriate police uniform. The large blaster at his hip keeps the dirty looks at just that, and at some point he'll bump into Pinkie, giving the pony a rather surprised look]

Pinkie Pie?

[Pinkie looks Luke in the eye before gasping loud, leaping into the air and taking off mid-flight into a dead sprint.]

CHEESE IT, IT'S THE COPS!

[For a moment he just stands there, a little perplexed, but when he realizes she's probably just goofing around, he decides to play along and takes off after her, twirling a pair of handcuffs that were clipped to the belt]

STOP RIGHT THERE PINKIE THE MENACE!

[Pinkie giggles with glee, breaking out into a full gallop.]

You'll never get me alive, pig!

[Luke laughs and picks up the pace, having to augment his movements a bit with the Force to keep up with the quadruped.]

Alive or dead! I'll get you!

[OK Pinkie, he's really glad he ran into you!]

[She continues running until she reaches an alley. She digs her hoofs into the pavement, slowing her down enough to change directions, darting down the narrow path and temporarily out of Luke's sight.]

[When she disappears into the alley, Luke follows, and when he sees that she's disappeared, he hops up onto the roof with his parkour skills and looks around for the pony.]

[Pinkie catches Luke on the roof out of the corner of her eye, turning quickly in his direction. She plants her back hoofs, aiming her tommy gun at the roof and letting the ammo fly.]

Eat candy corn!

[Luke goes flat against the roof and lets the candy wizz overhead]

Nice try!

Gangland

[doubleppk]

[Okay, now that is a bitchin' Tommygun. If Fujiko was into modifying her guns to be more colorful she'd be completely jealous. As it is though, she's just nice and appreciative.]

Tell me, you have the perfect outfit and handbag to go with that gun, or we are going shopping right now.

[Because seriously, she loves it, but you have to have a matching outfit and accessories to go with it! It's just a rule!!]

[She giggles.] If you tell me what a "handbag" is, I'll let you know if I have one or not!

Like a tote or a saddlebag.

[Thinks about it a little more and snaps her fingers together with one hand into a palm.] Ever seen a purse?

I don't know what a purse is, but I've got lots of saddlebags! [Hee~]

Day 4, Space Opera; because all their interactions should involve shooting/throwing stuff at people

[Despite the fact that his apartment building is located in the Nile, Steve has been looking for reasons to stop by the Space Opera area whenever he can. It had been strange the first time he saw it, but he has yet to stop finding new things to explore.

Like today, for example, he is experiencing a game that's new and exciting; laser tag. And kicking serious butt at it. He ducks in the shadows and steadies his laser gun in time to catch an opponent as they run past. He hits their target perfectly.]

Of course!

[Pinkie wiggles her way up onto the much larger human's shoulder, grinning.]

Wow, Steve! That was a super duper shot!

[neversurrender]

[He startles but quickly regains his composure. How did he not notice her coming up behind him?

His response to her comes in a quieter form and he hopes she takes the hint, otherwise others might find their location.]

Thanks Pinkie Pie. How are you faring?

Nile

[bravefighter]

Aren't you hot in that?

[I mean. Who walks around in all those clothes here... ! He's just walking around in typical Egyptian clothes, which are pretty comfy. It's still hot, of course, but it makes it better. At least bright colorful ponies weren't so odd to him, now.]

[She grins.]

Yes I am! I'm red hot, and I'm gonna whup that pyramid's pyra-butt.

[bravefighter]

Well, red hot, it's nice to meet you! I'm just Red.

[He laughs a little, though.]

You're pretty confident in that, huh?

I have to be! My mammoth is waiting for me to get back to him, and he gets lonely without somepony to play music for him.

Oh, and I'm Pinkie Pie, nice to meet you, Red!

Huh? Mammoth? [Noooo clue what that is.]

Nice to meet you too, Pinkie Pie!

SECOND DAAAAY

[Pinkie Pie will find Beast in the Ice Age while keeping himself warm with his multi-layered fur cloak. Due to the new sudden need for food, he has returned to his feral hunting ways, tackling the smilodons in the hopes of downing one. Care to deter him?]
