EVENT LOG: SCAVENGER HUNT

Who: All you scavenger hunters!
What: Scavenging and other fantabulousness, I suppose.
When: November 24th to 28th
Where: The whole village! And yet also all over time and space...

As announced by CJ, the village's immediate environs are divided up according to this map. There are five areas: the Nile, Ice Age, Space Opera, Shogunate, and Gangland. Time-and-place appropriate architecture and conjured up NPCs exist in each area.

Don't forget the scavenger hunt! While actually finding things is ultimatly optional, you can find more information on the hunt here. If you want to claim a reward from the hunt, be sure to link at least two related threads on the new rewards claims post.

Finally, here's a quick rundown of the objects:
- In THE NILE: A ceremonial dagger and a piece of Pharoah's treasure
- In GANGLAND: A tommy gun and a set of car keys
- In ICE AGE: A bone spear and a smilodon's tooth
- In SPACE OPERA: a raygun and part of a robot
- In SHOGUNATE: a samurai sword and water from a kappa's head

Thanks. [He adjusts his tie confidently. Despite the head of hair, this feels good. And he's been trying to pick up lingo from the locals.] It's the real spider cat's meow.

[Marco hasn't done so well in the slang department. He's older than he looks, and it's hard enough to keep up with his twenty-something-year-olds in his crew, trying to learn a whole new set? Not so easy. Still, at least he can understand things via context usually.]

Ah, aye. I don't suppose you need to worry about the err... pigs coming down too hard on you now, eh?

Nope. Nothing's been oinking at me at all.

[Spreads his hands with a shrug.] It's the one thing I can't figure out about this place. Maybe I'll check the restaurants again one more time.

Oh? I wonder what kind of themed food they have around here anyway. The mochi balls over in kappa-land were pretty good, eh.

Oh man, they were delicious! But the food here's not that different from the way it usually is. Everyone just wants bad drinks more.

Aye. There's more alcoholic drinks than just beer, eh. Hell, beer's pretty mild so far as booze goes.
