EVENT LOG: SCAVENGER HUNT

Who: All you scavenger hunters!
What: Scavenging and other fantabulousness, I suppose.
When: November 24th to 28th
Where: The whole village! And yet also all over time and space...

As announced by CJ, the village's immediate environs are divided up according to this map. There are five areas: the Nile, Ice Age, Space Opera, Shogunate, and Gangland. Time-and-place appropriate architecture and conjured up NPCs exist in each area.

Don't forget the scavenger hunt! While actually finding things is ultimatly optional, you can find more information on the hunt here. If you want to claim a reward from the hunt, be sure to link at least two related threads on the new rewards claims post.

Finally, here's a quick rundown of the objects:
- In THE NILE: A ceremonial dagger and a piece of Pharoah's treasure
- In GANGLAND: A tommy gun and a set of car keys
- In ICE AGE: A bone spear and a smilodon's tooth
- In SPACE OPERA: a raygun and part of a robot
- In SHOGUNATE: a samurai sword and water from a kappa's head

[Aang will be stepping into the Good Spirits in his Gangland finest with a newfound confidence in his step. His hair is still receded enough to review part of his arrow. He sidles up to the bar.]

Soda. On the rocks.

[And then he turns over to freak out at a familiar face... once again wearing something unusual.]

Winry?!

[installing]

[She jumps a little, surprised at being caught like this.]

A-Aang?! It's not what it looks like, I didn't choose this dres- [is it even enough material to be a dress?]

[He's turning red.]

It's okay, it's okay! I've seen a... a... dress? Like that before.... is all...

[installing]

R-r-r-right, so-!

Hello? [What does she even say. At least this covers as much as a one piece swimsuit, if not a bit more.]

Hi Winry! Hello! How... are you?

[He nervously scratches at some of the hair peeking out from under his hat.]

[installing]

I'm... I'm all right. [Swimsuit. Think of the dress as a swimsuit.]

What are you doing here?

[Aang will of course think of it as some weird bird costume.]

I came here earlier to look for items with some of the others. And I couldn't help but feel like visiting again. Something about this place just feels - nice.

[He adjusts his suit, with its automatic confidence boost.]

I know what you mean. You know this place is the closest to what my home- or at least Central- is like.

It is? People at your home dress like this all the time?

[installing]

N-no! I meant the cars and phones!

[savedtheworld]

Sorry! But that's - it's really neat. It must be refreshing for the place to be like him. And it's kind of funny, too... this place was familiar to Bolin, too. He's one of the future guys. They have... cars and telephones and radios and stuff.

Yep! Isn't it all great?

It is! It's like I'm in the future now, too. And I'm glad that this place is now a good reminder of home, at least for now. It's just... weird the way a lot of the people act.

[installing]

Their slang is weird too.

[savedtheworld]

You mean the way they speak easy? So people in your world don't call each other dolls or palookas?

[installing]

Definitely not palookas, and I think speakeasy is the name for the bar, Aang.

I thought that was how they call their language. Who calls their place a speakeasy?

[installing]

I think it might be because they're worried about selling alcohol?

[savedtheworld]

Why? Are they too young for it?

[installing]

[The girl shrugs.]

I don't think it's that, but I don't know what it really is.

[savedtheworld]

Either way, these guys are really weird. [He is then served his soda with an old-school looking Coke bottle and prepares to take the first sip.]

No argument from me there, Aang.

Right. [And he gets a nice little straw to sip from.] Have you been doing the scavenger hunt, too?

I have! My friends Ran Fan and Mei are helping me! I'm sure we'll get everything.

[savedtheworld]

[Some manly soda sips going in here in between excited outbursts.]

That sounds great, Winry! I know I've got faith in you guys. I've met Ran Fan... and I think I talked to May once! Is she that young-looking girl with all those braids in her hair who was asking the journals about crushes once?
