EVENT LOG: SCAVENGER HUNT

Who: All you scavenger hunters!
What: Scavenging and other fantabulousness, I suppose.
When: November 24th to 28th
Where: The whole village! And yet also all over time and space...

As announced by CJ, the village's immediate environs are divided up according to this map. There are five areas: the Nile, Ice Age, Space Opera, Shogunate, and Gangland. Time-and-place appropriate architecture and conjured up NPCs exist in each area.

Don't forget the scavenger hunt! While actually finding things is ultimatly optional, you can find more information on the hunt here. If you want to claim a reward from the hunt, be sure to link at least two related threads on the new rewards claims post.

Finally, here's a quick rundown of the objects:
- In THE NILE: A ceremonial dagger and a piece of Pharoah's treasure
- In GANGLAND: A tommy gun and a set of car keys
- In ICE AGE: A bone spear and a smilodon's tooth
- In SPACE OPERA: a raygun and part of a robot
- In SHOGUNATE: a samurai sword and water from a kappa's head

[Nami's having altogether too much fun in the gangland area while on sister escort duty. And by fun we might mean therapeutic violence, in keeping mooks away as best she can from both Good Spirits and the bakery.

In fact, she's sort of sitting on top of two groaning thugs on top of the fountain edge, casually having a drink of some purloined alcohol they just lifted from the bar, when Aang comes through. Lifting a hand in greeting.]

N-Nami! How... are you?

[Oh whoops, were we meant to be not violent? Nami missed that memo.]

I'm fine. [She seems cheerful enough at least.] I'd offer you a drink, but I imagine you're what Masaomi calls "underage".

[This just deters him for a moment.]

Why would Masaomi call me that, I'm old enough to do lots of things!

Glad to hear it. [Seriously, the idea of "underage" is so ludicrous to a prate. She's still not offering the bottle.] You don't strike me as much of a drinker, though.

Hey, I drink lots of things. I even drink lots of soda when I'm here!

Uh huh. [Genuine amusement.] And beer?

That's just for older people.

Ah! There we go, then. My point stands. [Sip. One of the guys underneath her groans with a little more life.]

Yeah, but most of my friends aren't the right age for it either! But, uh... What happened with those guys?

They got on my nerves.

[Yes okay, there was a little more to it than that. Something about harassing people at Good Spirits and attempting to interrupt the alcohol supply.]

So you're gonna sit on them until they're your friends?

[mikangirl]

Nope. I'm going to sit on them until I get an apology. And then maybe I won't hurt them again.

Oh! That sounds okay, too.

[He leans down to look at one of the thugs, dramatically tugging at his own hat.]

You ragger-muffins better apologize soon!

[Nami grins at him. The more conscious of the two stirs and gives him a sullen look. "Give it a rest, kid. The dame was bad enough."

Nami raps him on the back of the head with a piece of her climatact.] See? No manners.

I see what you mean, Nami! He could at least give you one of those things for the scavenger hunt with that trouble you went through to teach 'im.

...scavenger hunt?

[Guess who's been largely ignoring her journal?]

Yeah, you didn't hear about it? You can get two things in each area to win points from the Malnosso!

Oh. More points. I could deal with more points.

Oh wait... I already have 150 of them. {And she still hasn't spent any.]

Oh, right. You do go on a lot of missions. What do you want to use yours on?

I'm not sure I should say. [She raps the head sharply of one of the goons below her, near playfully, but her eyes are sharp.] I'm a very secretive person.
