EVENT LOG: SCAVENGER HUNT

Who: All you scavenger hunters!
What: Scavenging and other fantabulousness, I suppose.
When: November 24th to 28th
Where: The whole village! And yet also all over time and space...

As announced by CJ, the village's immediate environs are divided up according to this map. There are five areas: the Nile, Ice Age, Space Opera, Shogunate, and Gangland. Time-and-place appropriate architecture and conjured up NPCs exist in each area.

Don't forget the scavenger hunt! While actually finding things is ultimatly optional, you can find more information on the hunt here. If you want to claim a reward from the hunt, be sure to link at least two related threads on the new rewards claims post.

Finally, here's a quick rundown of the objects:
- In THE NILE: A ceremonial dagger and a piece of Pharoah's treasure
- In GANGLAND: A tommy gun and a set of car keys
- In ICE AGE: A bone spear and a smilodon's tooth
- In SPACE OPERA: a raygun and part of a robot
- In SHOGUNATE: a samurai sword and water from a kappa's head

[In the standard Kh fashion, Sora's clothes are altering with each environment anyways, if only just looking only reminiscent of his old stuff.

But, Sora's not really caring about that stuff. He's more focused on the fact of collecting the stuff for the scavenger hunt. Why? Because it's a competition of course! Sora always has to try and win at these. But he can't use violence for this one apparently.

Not that that's a bad thing but usually you solve things by hitting them in his world apparently. Hitting things always solves problems.

In any case, Sora's going through each zone on different days.
Day 1 - Gangland
Day 2 - The Nile
Day 3 - Ice age
Day 4 - Space Opera and Shogunate]

[As time in the Nile drags on, Sora may at one point hear - or see - Raine examining some of the tombs, dragging around a bag of artifacts that have nothing to do with the scavenger hunt, mostly peering at it all in fascination - or laughing in the delight of it all.]

[Okay, the apparent insanity excitement from the professor is enough to catch Sora's attention as she appears to be hauling a whole bunch of loot. Approaching her as she seems to be examining a ruin, he looks curiously to her.]

Professor? What are you doing?

Researching, of course! This is a fantastic opportunity to study these ruins!

[Ooooh...now he gets it.]

This is your first time seeing things from other worlds, huh?

Some places can be simulated in the battle dome, but it's really not the same! [And she's going to start moving again as she's talking, trying to study all of the details that she can.]

[So, he's following along with her investigating.]

Do you need any help?

Sora! Can you list the properties of this rock? [She gestures to the smooth surfaces of the walls.]

Uhhhhhhh....

[He stares for a moment, not exactly sure how to answer.]

It's...rocky?

[wise_maiden]

These stones are made out of limestone! That means it is a sedimentary rock. Can you name the major mineral that can be found in limestone?

I....what? Um...Lucid crystal?

[wise_maiden]

It's made from the mineral calcite. It's soluble in water, and is created from the remains of marine organisms. And yet here it all is in the desert, so imagine how long it must have taken for it to form in order for it to be found and utilized here, in what is obviously an ancient creation! Isn't that fascinating?

I guess it kind of is? I was just more interested in exploring the place actually.

Day 4 in Shogunate - Finally!

[While venturing through old feudal Japan, Sora may find an interesting sight, stumbling awkwardly under the weight of the large bulky armour through the trees. Believe it or not, Beast is the bearer of this armour and is making ever so much noise as he tries to accustom himself to what this area decided to give him to wear. Why does he need all of this? He hasn't seen anybody yet, it's almost like he should expect to be attacked...]

[Sora hears said rattling of armor and spins to the awkward sight. What was that? Who was that? He'll just draw out his keyblade just in case, since that helmet is probably obscuring the beast's face for Sora to see it.]

Sora? [The word is said out loud, but since he is still moving, the rattling partially drowns out his voice.]

I-I just c-came to see wh-what this part of Luceti w-was like, and then it... I-I got this. [He stands with his legs apart and stares down at his strange armour.]
