Miracle on Luceti Street.

Who: Everybody! (Mostly.)
What: IT'S CHRISTMAS OR SOMETHING.
When: The 19th through the 25th. Feel free to backdate and forwarddate and everydate as you please.
Where: All over the village!
Summary: It's a wintertime jamboree. Go ice skating. Hand out gifts to those you love. (Or want to prank, as the case may be.) Deal with meddling, creepy elves. Kiss a lot of people. It'll be good. Except for the parts where it'll be awkward. But that's what we're here for, isn't it?
Rating: Anywhere from PG to R, I imagine. If you need to play out sexytimes, please either fade to black and take it elsewhere or CLEARLY mark the thread in the subject line. (The former is preferable, but not strictly necessary.)

[Sometime that afternoon, Aang takes Appa out for a ride over Luceti to appreciate the scenery. But could there be a new friend to appreciate as well?]

[Oh, there most certainly is. Perona's outside the second community housing building - her old home before she moved out for a while - practically hanging off the massive snout of this massive creature. The middle-most head is the one she's happily sobbing into as she hugs it tight, snuggling into its mane as the other two heads lick and nose her cheeks and arms. The three tails of the enormous canine monstrosity are wagging furiously, and it seems just as pleased as its owner is right now.]

Cerby-chan! I thought you were gone forever! My puppy! My precious little puppy, I missed you so much! Cerby-chaaaan!

[Appa's alarmed by the sight, and Aang brings him down closer, being distressed and not yet making out what Perona's saying.]

Hang on Perona, I'll help you!

[That is three weird dog heads on a giant dog body with fox tails.]

[All Perona hears is aang's voice and something about helping. Helping who--what now? Help with what? She blinks, looking around for the little bald kid curiously. Okay, she knows she heard him, so where the bloody blazes is he?]

Eeh? Aang-kun?

[Cerberus, on the other hand - who really has two dog head and one fox head, but don't mention that because he's very sensitive about it - already has Aang and Appa in its sights and is growling ferociously at them. Or, well, mostly Appa. It barks (and kon!s) loudly, trying to protect its master from what it believes is one hell of a large threat.]

Don't worry, I'm right here!

[Appa seems to be getting cold feet as they get closer, but he's determined, too. And that dog looks really threatening. So Aang tries airbending at it when he gets close enough as a distraction so he can try to grab Perona.]

What're you--?!

[Perona's finally staring at the enormous...whatever it is Aang's riding, but is a little too distracted when Cerberus finally bristles and tries snapping each of its teeth at the offender and its ride. Circling around on the ground, it's snarling and howling, though gets knocked off its feet by the gust of air that slams into it.]

OI! STOP THAT! [The hell did he just do to her dog?!] Leave him alone!

That's right big guy, you better leave Perona alone! [And looking down towards Perona.] Are you alright?

I'm not talking about--

[Perona's cut off mid-sentence once Cerberus recovers from the previous blow. It shakes its three terrifying heads then lets out a bellow that could shatter glass. That was not cool, good sir, and you're about to be dog chow. Charging, Cerberus means to lash out tooth and nail against the annoyance, drool dripping from those enormous, yellow teeth...]

CERBERUS, LAY DOWN! RIGHT NOW! [Perona roars louder than the monster, and the poor thing comes to a screeching halt, all six of its ears folded back in terror. It whimpers, then does at its told, laying down with its head on its paws. Perona, who's eyebrows are knitted together, glowers at her returned pet, then turns her glare back onto Aang, floating up into the air to give him a piece of her mind next.] AND YOU! What did you think you were going to do to my dog?!

[Aang first freaks out at the scary bellow... and then at starting to realize his mistake.]

Your dog?!

Yes, my dog! Back home, when I still sailed with Mo--...my former captain, I was in charge of all the animal and surprise zombies. Cerberus is one of the animal zombies I control. And he was just recently returned to me! You and your...creature [She gives Appa a long look. What the heck is that thing even supposed to be?] scared him, that's why he attacked! He was trying to protect me! Cerby-chan's a good boy, and listens to what I say.

Cerby-chaaan, come! [The giant canine lifts its heads, ears perking up, and it meanders over, a little subdued from being scolded before.] Sit. And shake. [The three heads look at eachother for a moment, then it listens to Perona, sitting on its rump and raising one monstrous paw to shake.] See?! He's a good boy!

[Oh yes you are, yes you aaaare!! ♥♥♥]

[Appa slumps into a landing, and Aang frowns at all of this.]

Perona... I'm so sorry. I didn't think he was your doggie. That was so stupid of me. [When he looks at the three-headed beast now... he does seem kinda cute.]

[Cerberus, while he may indeed look a bit cute if you squint your eyes enough, gives Aang a rather resentful glare, folding his ears back and rolling his lips over his teeth. Yes, all three sets of them. He's still angry with you, you little morsel, but his master's ordered him not to attack, so...he has to listen.]

Eeh...I'm bad, but you meant nothing by it. It was a mistake and you apologized, and Cerby-chan's doing just fine, too. Don't look so upset, or I may start feeling bad, too. But, eh, Aang-kun...what is your animal supposed to be? It's not a squirrel...or a cow...I think...

[He flashes a meek smile to Cerberus before turning to Perona.]

Oh, Appa? He's not any of those animals, he's a sky bison!

A sky...bison? [Well, now that she looks at the thing it kind of looks like a bison. It's got the face of one, at least. But the rest of it...eh.] From your world, I take it? Did you get it for Christmas as well, Aang-kun?

Oh no, I've had Appa since I was six! The sky bisons are our partners for life, and we've only been apart twice since then. One of those was my first few months here... but he showed up all by himself!

[Partners for life? Huh...so it's important, then. It still looks really weird, and Perona's not quite sure how much she likes the big thing. Cerberus is still looking at it uneasily - somewhat intimidated by the beast's size, though it's not doing anything right now, so he stays put like his master ordered.]

All by himself? Weeeh...he must be pretty smart. Or maybe not so much, to show up here. I received Cerby-chan because I was a good girl for Christmas! Back home, he'd guard the gates to Thriller Bark, but that was so long ago...I wasn't sure I'd ever seen him again, so I'm so happy he's here now!

I'll have to figure out where to keep him though... [Her doggy is not sleeping outside in the cold.] Where do you keep your animal?

He's really smart. [He says somewhat curtly and defensively before going back to the more casual tone.] Well Appa stays outside a lot. But me and Toph made a little shelter for him with earthbending to stay in while he's resting. I can make one for your Kirby Chan too, if you want!

Wh--could you?! Really?!

[Perona's eyes light up with pure delight and even the massive canine, who'd been leering at the little bald kid and his own "pet" perks its ears up and begins to wag its three tails in excitement. The snow is terribly cold, and while cold and damp is the norm on Thriller Bark, this is a bit much. Cerberus is used to being pampered by his master when she's not busy with other duties, after all.]

I'd be so thankful if you did that! I don't know what "earthbending" is, but if you can make a cute little house for my doggy, then I don't really care! You're such a good boy, Aang-kun, thank you very much! Ah, and sorry for yelling at you before... Cerberus is sorry for attacking, too. Right? [She gives her dog a look, and it nods its three heads after some hesitation, barking twice and making the foxy "kon!" sound.] Hm! Good boy. ♥

Earthbending? Oh, it's stuff like this! [He assumes a stiff, rigid posture and stomps forward while moving his arms, making a pillar of earth rise through the snow behind him.]

And that's okay, Perona. That was all my fault. I'm the one who's sorry.

[Wh-Whoaaa! Her and Cerberus' eyes grow wide practically in unison, the large dog folding on pair of its ears back as the other two perk right up. Man, that was...insane! Was that magic of some sort? It had to be.]

Weeeh...how amazing...it's solid, right? [Perona's going to inspect the pillar, curiously poking and prodding it. She has to make sure the thing's sturdy, considering her dog's size and strength.] And it won't break very easily, right? Cerby-chan's very strong. Oh! It shouldn't be here, either. Maybe behind the building...

[Seeing as how some people may not take to seeing the guardian of hell outside in the front yard very well.]

Of course it's solid, it's earth! And it can be stronger than that. Just show me where and I'll try to put something together for you too! [He had Toph's help with Appa's, but he feels like she'd be hard to convince of this - and he wouldn't want to make her work on Christmas Day, anyway.] It's the least I can do.

I really can't thank you enough! Come this way, behind the building will be best, I think. [She takes a hold of her pet's collar (the one on the fox's head) and begins to walk around towards the back of the building, waving Aang over as well.]

I really can't thank you enough for this, Aang-kun! I can decorate it, so don't work too hard on making it too nice, okay? Just so long as he stays warm and dry...I can do the rest. I have a lot of blankets and pillows he can use to keep warm! Ah, and I still have to give you your Christmas gift, too! But it's no where near enough for what you're doing...I'm sorry. I hope you can still accept it when I get it.

[He smiles and trots along behind them. Appa just lazes in the snow.]

I think you did thank me enough! There's no problem, and you don't have to get me a present either! I did have a few things I was meaning to give you, though. But I guess this can be a start! Anything to help a nice animal and a good friend.

It's a bit late to tell me not to get you anything. I have it up in my room already, horohoro! After we're finished here, I'll go get it for you. [Oooh! Presents for her, too?! Perona tries to keep the delight out of her eyes, though it's hard. A material girl like her loves getting presents of all kinds.] I'd say this is gift enough, but if you've already gotten me something already as well...then I very well can't turn it down, can I?

Here will do. [Right behind the building, with a fair bit of distance from the actual building. At least thirty feet.]

Did anyone ever tell you that sometimes you look like you're not kind but you really always are, Perona? [He says with a warm smile.

But then he goes towards the space.]

Then stand back a little more! Here it goes...

[And with a hearty stomp accompanied by various rigid movements, he begins raising the earth up - a bit slow since he's doing it by himself.]
