[Green has been out and about himself, and it's been a hectic few days. He was fortunate to only be drawn towards ladies with long brown hair, though that... encompassed quite a few women in Luceti.

At some point, he encounters Tear through the daily routine, and holds the door open to a store for her.]

Here you go, ma'am.

[He knows he's being influenced, but politeness comes first!]

[The week hasn't been as hectic for Tear, but after yesterday she was a little more wary of going about the village than she had been only a few days prior. When Green opens the door for her she gives him a small smile, even with the experiment it would be poor taste to be rude to someone helping her.]

Thank you, are you also on your way in?

I am. Just... picking up supplies.

[He restrains a frown at just how awkward he sounds, allowing Tear through before going in himself.]

My name is Green.

[--He kicks himself in his mind, come on don't bug this lady.]

Green, you say? [His behaviour is a bit unusual, but it was easy enough to brush off even if he did frown. He was being polite, right?]

I'm Tear, would there be anything you're looking in particular? I could help you if you wouldn't mind.

Ah, well. I'm just getting snacks and stuff for my Pokémon for training... no need to trouble yourself, if you feel obligated, ma'am.

It's no trouble, I'm not in a rush. [But she is curious –]

Pokémon?

Some of the creatures that travel with trainers from my world.

[He'll let out Scizor, since it was the smallest and least destructive.]

I'm not the only trainer, so you'll likely see a number of Pokémon around the village.

[If you wanted to keep her attention Green, this was definitely the way to go about it. She's absolutely fascinated, having only heard of the Pokémon before.]

So this is a companion of yours? What's his name? [He's kind of cute...]

[Scizor is very quiet and docile, and not quite a show-off, so it only calmly stands as Green puts his hand on its metallic exoskeleton and explains.]

He's a Scizor, which is a suitable enough name for him. He's a "steel" and "bug" type, and he's been with me since I was a child in training.

[And... yeah okay Green can't help but grin a little bit. He's proud of his Pokémon.]

A childhood companion... You must know each other very well, if you have stayed together all this time. [It was something to be admired.]

Oh, I'm keeping you from your shopping aren't I? You said you were looking for snacks...

It's fine, I exercise them every day, I was simply getting stuff for that. I don't have a time crunch or strict schedule.

[Total lies, he always adheres to a schedule.]

[If they were meeting under normal circumstances she would be apologizing to him, but since they weren't she... kind of wants to keep him around a bit longer.]

If that's the case, would you mind telling me more about them? It's unusual to fight side-by-side with other creatures in my world, so I'm a little curious. [Unsaid: they usually kill them but that didn't sound like it would fly over very well.]
