[On the 11th, Ororo intends to go about her day as usual - waking up with the sunrise for an early morning flight over the outskirts of the village. It's such a clear, lovely dawn that she loses track of time for a while and returns to the village some time midday. By then, she'd noticed quite a few people acting strangely in the plaza. Curious, she decides to land there, wondering vaguely what was going on.

Feel free to run into Ororo any time throughout the rest of the week! Perhaps at the grocery, stocking up on food to cook for ~~her conquests~~ friends with traits she's suddenly attracted to, or looking though the clothes shop after deciding that she needed a few, new and particular articles of... clothing if she wanted to impress them.]

[Oh, this time of year was something Morrigan could appreciate. Love -- and lust -- is in the air, and where there are couples, there are bound to be a few unlucky bachelors. The hotel is pretty swanky, too -- she dips into it just for a moment, grabs a handful of chocolate candies to eat while she's out and about, and heads out to roam the village in earnest.]

[Oh, but what's this? She didn't realize there were so many strong men about the village... her heart is all a-flutter!]

[Long story short, boys... Morrigan's on the prowl all of this week. And she's not stopping until she gets some~~one~~.]

[Syre is completely, utterly unfamiliar with the concept of Valentine's Day. I mean, the holiday itself isn't celebrated on her planet, so what could she possibly know?]

[Still, this Shift doesn't seem entirely too bad; the hot springs aren't here for the time being, but the hotel that's taking its place seems rather luxurious.]

[Syre will be wandering about for pretty much all of the event, trying to make... sense of the weird sense of infatuation budding in her heart. She doesn't quite know who's caught her attention, but she figures they're somewhere around here...]

[This... is Hector. This is Hector... currently trying to figure out what in blazes has come over him.]

[When he woke up this morning, in the shared home that he and Isaac had... there was something about the red-haired Forgemaster that seemed to catch his attention.]

[Something about Isaac seems... captivating, as though he had discovered something that he hadn't realized until now.]

[So, whilst trying to figure out what seems to have changed in his brain, the white-haired Forgemaster is wandering the village for a time. Let's hope he doesn't have any other weird changes of mind... or heart.]

[Aang goes about his week normally... except when he's spontaneously falling in love. Parts of his day include working at the Welcome Center, drinking at the tea shop, looking for books at the library and going into the forest for nature walks. Or one could catch him practicing any of the four elemental bending styles early in the day, near House 56.

Through odd compulsion, he finds himself spending more time with Appa the sky bison and Momo the flying lemur. Maybe he's about to go on a bison ride or using firebending to melt a barrel of frozen water from the river for Appa.

Something's in the air; something odd, something different. For once, instead of Katara, he finds his mind daydreaming about the unknown.]

[On the eleventh, Masaomi wakes up... feeling much the same as he has other days this week. He only got back from his kidnapping and there was also Trainers Day. But today, as he's making his breakfast in CH1 he can't help but... feel like things are perking up. You see, he lives near a bunch of ninja, and he can't help but feel that perks up his day. You see, he has several newfound traits he's interested in.

And, thereafter, he'll be filtering around town, hesitantly happy. His Pikachu is still around with him at all times: on his shoulder, on his head, in her pokeball in his pocket. Options. He's not hitting on girls, but he is flickering all over town, looking for new and fun things, and enjoying how pleasing some people are now.

On Valentines itself, while he's not expecting it (and, this year, not making a show of it) he's hoping to get some chocolate from cute girls]

[Bright and early on the 11th, Loki heads over to Jane's place, intending to hand off some work before the camping trip he planned with Rogue.

Though somehow it all feels less urgent than it did. Little does he know it is already too late...

After that, he'll still be around town mostly at the library, camping trip forgotten and work somehow less pressing.]

(ooc: His trigger is science geniuses, which also makes for magic geniuses since they're really the same thing to him. His official date is Jane, but he'll flirt with anything that has a pulse and a sexy, sexy brain. TIME FOR ALL THE NERD LOVE EVER, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.)

[So... suddenly guys aren't as interesting to him. Which is weird, because he's been gay basically forever. Not to mention he's still living with his boyfriend.

Or... ex. Very quickly, and peacefully, since it'll be a mutual decision. And with the boyfriend downgraded back to best friend/roommate, Billy Kaplan finds himself available. Ladies beware, this guy's on the prowl. (Ha.)

The effects of the experiment will be strongest at the start and gradually wear off closer to the end, but hey, he can be occasionally charismatic, so who knows what kind of magic will happen... care to try your luck?]

[On the 11th, despite whatever problems she's had over the last month, she realizes that she wants to do something special for her SOS-Brigade. There's also Foundation Day but that doesn't feel super relevant in light of not being in Japan. So as a result Haruhi sets out to do some important things. She can be found going to Item Shop to get boxes and a heavy duty shovel. She'll then be going to Grocery to get stuff to make homemade chocolates. She's then going to collect some parchment, and generally set about on an epic journey.

From the 11th to the 13th, Haruhi will be out burying boxes in obscure places all over the edge of the village and making chocolate in House 10. She'll also be drawing treasure maps. For, you see! That's what she's going to be doing on Valentines Day: giving treasure maps to the guys in her life which they need to follow in order to get their chocolate. So any guys who she is close enough to can expect to find a map nailed to their door or some other obscure delivery means.

After that though, she's just chilling doing her usual thing. And all through these events, she can be encountered! And she has new things which attract her. (Her ultimate main hook uppy thing will probably be Leon, but she's more than open to other things.)]

[Everyone seems to be gearing up for Valentine's day. Which seems kind of dumb to Max because he's never really celebrated and it seems like a lot of fuss over nothing. He's surprised that it's even a thing in Luceti when there are people from so many other worlds.

He goes through his days normally enough, researching at the library, working on a few spells and his wards around the apartment or in the town square, acquiring a few things to make his apartment a little more homely. And if people seem a little more... enamoured of each other well, good for them. After all, he won't be getting involved.

Ha.

Except some traits just seem to be a real draw. MMust be something in the water.]

[Kari couldn't explain it, but something felt... off, today. And she noticed it the moment she decided to go out as Hoshikyo -- everyone in the village just seemed so different to her! Sure, she was used to the occasional warm-tinglies when a particularly beautiful girl walked by, but today it seemed like her senses were all screwy. But all that seemed forgotten the moment she saw... him.]

[Those pretty eyes and that immaculately styled hair... because clearly it was only meant to give the illusion of messiness, but oh, she could see through it!! She has the strangest feeling that she's met him before... perhaps that's why she can't take her eyes off him as they pass by each other in the plaza?]

[Asch isn't thrilled about it being Valentine's Day week again - after four years of this nonsense it gets awfully tiresome - but he's halfway resigned to his fate at this point. His only wish is for it to be the least humiliating experience possible.

Since drowning himself with work ~~especially with the roster taking another hit~~ is easiest, he'll spend most of the time at Good Spirits, but people can still catch him around the village as per usual. He doesn't seem to notice that with certain people, he's actually a lot more chatty than he normally is, yet with others, he can't stand them. Strange, indeed...

Care to take advantage of this sudden desire to socialize?]

[There was no one day assigned to lovers in Zevran's world. No holiday or celebration purely in the interest of furthering romance so all this talk and puttering about wooing one another strikes him as somewhat odd. Winter is hardly the time to see the best in your fellow man but there seems to be more than a few feasts and festivals geared toward doing just that. The weather being what it is he keeps to the apartment building unless someone needs him elsewhere, wandering about the cold was not his style.

Though it was somewhat lonesome in his kitchen, so he took his meals on the first floor alongside Jack and Eugene normally. This day, he saw neither, rather he wandered in behind a dark haired man he had not met as of yet.]

Good morning.

[You know what's a great thing to do right after a break-up?

Well, okay, it's not like he's looking for rebound sex or anything. He's not that shallow. But someone to talk to seems like a really good idea right now, so when he notices a girl that he doesn't recognize watching him in the plaza, he pauses, then offers up a smile and an awkward wave. Something about her seems to tell him that they'll get along, but he really can't explain it. And he's never been against having girl friends, just not- girlfriends. Which is fine, just fine.

Even if the thought of that happening seems... but no, that's just silly. He's gay. Right? Right...

Anyway, this girl. Still staring. And he's intrigued by now.]

[Slowly and steadily, Spencer feels his strength returning to him; soon, it would be a month since a freak accident and equally invasive surgical treatment had laid him low. One day more meant one day less spent convalescing, one day closer to taking to the skies again with his bionic arm. He feels the itch of restlessness particularly keenly today as he walks about the village for some air a little more briskly, unconsciously considering the durability and height of buildings, lampposts, and other structures in his midst as he looks about. Force of habit.

Valentines? There’s talk of it in the air and he would have loved to forget all about it had that invitation to the spa not somehow weaseled its way into his journal. He’ll pass, thanks - now if only the Malnosso didn't have other intentions for him.

While on the move, he catches a glimpse of her and thinks to offer a greeting when he's closer. It has been a little while.]

Afternoon, ma'am. [And it comes with a reserved, casual smile.]

[Is it that time of year again? Saleh remembers it all too well, and that last year, not even avoid the journals was enough to save him from the love effects. Well, he's not trying to avoid it this time. He knows it's inevitable. He just wonders who he'll end up falling for this time. It's...pretty frightening when he thinks about it.]

[Today Eleytheria feels... well odd. He can't quite figure out exactly what's going on but there's a sense that things aren't quite right in Luceti today and he can't help but feel a little concerned that he might be a part of it again... There's a certain longing feeling in his chest, and he doesn't understand why. Not only that but the village and its surroundings looks rather more pretty than he remembered. As do some of its inhabitants.

So you'll probably find him wandering around the village looking more than a little anxious and getting rather distracted by passers-by, or absent-mindedly staring at the scenery. You might even find him sitting outside with his eyes closed and his hands over his ears, just trying to shut out the world around him because he has no idea what's going on right now, okay?

Maybe someone should go see if he's all right~]

buffy will be keeping her usual shift at good spirits every day except on the thirteenth. other than that, you can catch her at the usual haunts: seventh heaven while she picks up some take-out, the library while she's clumsily researching curses, the stores during the early days when she's picking up what seems to be party supplies.

or just walking around town on her usual patrol. either way, the gal gets quite...flirty when she meets someone who matches up with a few certain traits. ]

[Xzana had long grown tired of being cooped up in her apartment. That and she sorely missed the taste of fresh meat in her mouth. All the stuff she's raided from those things human called fridges never had any hair left on it!

So today she's decided on a VERY quick trip out to do some hunting. She'll be out in the forest to hunt and around CH6.]

[ huh. she'd never before noticed just how RED asch's hair is. buffy tilts her head and watches him as he works. he's not coming along too badly, really. she half-swears that today he's almost been downright...chatty.

well. chatty for him. ]

Doing a great job today, Asch -- [ she calls across the room during a brief moment of respite, when the bar's empty and she's picking a few bottles off an abandoned table. ]

[Raine crosses Asch's path while heading around for some errands once school is out for the day - and begins to consider the use of having classes while people are adversely affected like this. Not that love will get in the way of math and all that. The flower shop might need more attention the sillier people get, though it's a thought tucked in the back of her mind for later.

Still, it's not very often that she sees this particular redhead in passing, so she offers a nod and a smile. Nothing particularly out of the ordinary there.]

[Ororo was just coming from her trip to the clothing store, an armful of new, self-indulgently silky things in a bag when Spencer called out to her. She smiles warmly; it has been a while, but somehow she's even gladder to see him today.]

Captain Spencer, good afternoon.

[Keiichi isn't sure what to think when he spots a wild Suzumiya wandering around the edge of the village... Okay, she doesn't seem to be wandering much, but rather has a clear objective, but he doesn't know what could bring her there. For a moment he considers going on with his own business, going to check on Rena's hideout -he really should stop calling it that, Rena hasn't been there for a long time- to see how kind winter was with it. But he changes his mind and ends chasing her a bit.]

Hey, Haruhi? Are you looking for something? Want help?

[He forces a smile out, they are starting to come more easily now thankfully.]

[He's wandered into the kitchen a little later than normal that day, still dressed in the t-shirt and boxers he wears for sleeping in. He pokes blearily at the kettle as he lights the stove and the Malnosso can drag them from other worlds but can't manage to supply an electric kettle this is so damn uncivilised.

He glances over when someone speaks, looks back at the kettle and then sharply back at the man, blinking a little in confusion and huh... interest.]

Morning. I uh, don't think we've met. I'm Max.

[Isaac, having not yet stepped – or more accurately, teleported – out of his home, is unaware of the Malnosso’s brand of trickery at work while he goes about the perfectly mundane business of drying himself off from his bath, sliding his piercings back into place, and tugging on pants as if he had some semblance of shame. Truthfully, it was just too cold in most areas of his home to putter about in a full state of undress. The fact that he now lived with company did absolutely nothing to compel him to change his habits, clearly. Had it been Julia, though… well, that would be a different story.

With a plate of cheese and bread in hand, the Forgemaster retreats to the warmth of his bedroom where he then resumes his study of spells, herbs, and gemstones, jotting thoughts into his sketch-laden notepad every so often. He remains every bit the diligent sorcerer he was under Dracula’s watchful eye years ago.]

[Jane was restless. Maybe it was her Drifter spirit acting up again or maybe it was just some pangs of boredom, but all she really knew for sure was that staying cooped up in her room or even sitting still for any length of time was not an option. Not even her usual teatime ritual could stop that; it was tea to go or no tea at all.

Sure, she had looked a bit silly walking out with a cup in one hand and a small pastry in the other despite how many places there were for her to sit down, but she had never really been one to care about strangers thought of her anyway. All she had to do was finish eating and not walk into anybody while she was distracted! Wait, why was the pastry heart-shaped? Had there been this many couples walking around before? And why had her face burned red when she looked into that cashier's eyes?

...Eh, whatever. She was probably just imagining things! Yup. Nothing strange here, not at all.

After that ordeal she had her usual daily errands: groceries, window shopping at clothing stores and the like. Other than that she could be found taking a walk outside the village, admiring the untouched snow.
