Day 4

[de_bel_survivor]

[From below, small tornadoes form and lifts up some of the swarming droids into the air. The cutting wind strike them hard before they drop back down to the ground, hard. It's enough to create a temporary opening.

Not far from them is a blue haired young man, wearing a cracked pair of headphones on his head and his hands covered in magical energy.]

[precipitous]

[ She immediately thinks it's airbending, despite the lack of airbenders around - unless they were from a different enclosure. Korra looks around wildly as she jumps out of the circle of droids to see if she can spot any arrow-headed people, but the only person she catches sight of is the young man with the magical energy in his hands and a decided lack of arrows. ]

Was that you? [ Might as well be direct about it. ]

[If he knew what she's thinking, Kouki would say that he's the furthest thing from an airbender.]

Yep. [So he's right and there was someone being swarmed. Using a wind spell was a good call on his part for safety reasons. But now that she's seemingly out of the way, with a flick of his hands, lightning falls from the sky and strike the droids, dancing between them.]

[precipitous]

[ Yep. Definitely not an airbender. Korra takes an instinctive step back from the lightning, even if it seems only intended for the droids.

She gives the blue-haired boy a wide-eyed look. ]

[de_bel_survivor]

[He glance over at her, noticing her stare.]

Save the gawking for later. After the enemies are down and not attacking. [While the Elec Dance spell did hit them, stunning a few droids by luck, they're not completely down for the count.

[precipitous]

Er - right! [ Time for questions later. She focuses back on the droids, running forward with flames blossoming in her hands. She throws two streams of fire at the droids while kicking in the chest of another. ]

[For the time being, Kouki stick to using electric spells. He mainly use the Elec Dance spell, but if there's a group of droids clustering together, he'd strike them with a larger electric spell.

Zap. Thud. Goes the fallen droids, littering the ground one by one with their bodies.

However, even with his magic, a few of them almost catch up to Kouki and almost hit him. By instinct, he erects a barrier to deflect the first hit.]

[precipitous]

[ That sure is some magic, there. Korra notices the droids trying to attack him and runs towards them, landing a sound kick to one's head and an earthbended rock to the chest of another. ]

[Without pausing, Kouki use this moment to push away some of the droids with a strong wind spell. The ones within range get pushed back, giving them both some more space to move around in.

Almost immediately afterwards, he cast another spell with a downward flick of his hand. Large icebergs appear and fall down on top of the droids, breaking into smaller shards from the impact.]

[precipitous]

[ And now icebergs are appearing from nowhere to crush the droids. She is going to try her hardest to not look at all impressed, combining earthbending with the icebergs to further damage the droids beyond repair. ]

Not bad. [For all of his magic, he doesn't know any earth spells. Maybe he should consider asking a Filial spirit to teach him. After this draft.

He give the damaged beyond repair droids a quick glance, before turning his attention over the remaining ones.]

[precipitous]

Uh, thank you? [ It was odd to get compliments on her bending from people who weren't benders themselves, but she'll take it. Any flattery is good flattery, right?

She turns to another droid, blasting it with fire. ]

[de_bel_survivor]

[If a person is doing something impressive, especially when Kouki don't know how to do it--he could try picking up earth magic one day--why wouldn't he give out compliments?

The number of droids around them dwindle, Kouki looking around and gauging the situation. He shifts, as a droid barely grazed his cheek and he retaliate with a well aimed electric spell to their head.]

[precipitous]

[ She tries to not let herself get too distracted by what he's doing, even if it is pretty neat. She focuses on weakening the droids with her fire. ]

[de_bel_survivor]

[One weakens then, the other finishes it off. One of the most basic ways teamwork can do.

Once last group of droids in their immediate surroundings, and they're spread out as well.]

Hey, think we can forced them into a crowd? [If they're grouped together, or at least get close enough, his wide-ranging spells can hit them all at once.]

[precipitous]

[ Korra was fairly certain she could. If nothing else, she could force them with brute strength into a crowd. She nods. ]

One way to find out!

[de_bel_survivor]

Let's go!

[His hands gathering energy again, Kouki uses the powerful, forceful wind from a wind spell to push a bunch of them into a group. If they didn't, the wind would disorientated them long enough.]

[precipitous]

[ Korra upends the earth beneath the droids to force them in the same direction as his wind. The tremor shakes their balance, too - that'll be his chance. ]

What now?

[de_bel_survivor]

[A quick moment later, large icebergs appear in the air and slammed down into the herded droids. Slammed and shattered from the force, its shards breaking off and hitting them again.]

That's what.

[He watches them fall with a satisfied smirk. While he would use other elements, such as fire, there's something wonderful about watching his ice spells break and hit his enemies.]

[precipitous]

[ Okay, now that was cool. Korra fist-pumps the air. ]

Nice one!

[de_bel_survivor]

[Why, yes. It was cool. Pun fully intended.]

Thanks! [He glance around, scouting their surroundings.] And it seems like we won't get attacked any time soon.

[He turns his attention back at her.] No injuries on you?

[precipitous]

[ She stretches out her limbs, taking an inventory of herself before answering. ]

Just a few scrapes. Nothing I can't handle. You?

[de_bel_survivor]

Same here. Maybe a bit drained, but I have enough magical juice left in me.

[If he doesn't, he can stop to recover. Or use another method.]

[precipitous]

Good. Looks like we've held 'em off for now.

[de_bel_survivor]

A quick breather time, then.

[Maaaan, it feels like he's been on the move for a while. He let out a breath, not realising he's holding it in, and relaxes.]

As always, hitting them hard seems to be the best.
