[Unfortunately for Haku, he is around that age group -- even if he looks like a chick -- and must have gotten caught under a mistletoe. Crap. He's been trying to avoid them, to be honest.

Now is worries weren't about avoiding mistletoes as much as it was the girl sliding up to him. She was..... too close.]

[ She's not even entirely sure that this is a guy she's moving in on, but hey, she's not that picky at this point. It's not like there are people lining up to get her under the mistletoe, and she's determined to kiss someone.

[ AND AT THAT VERY MOMENT, THERE'S A HUGE YELL FROM THE DISTANCE! Out of nowhere, Gintoki seemingly appears (he's been stalking his not-daughter, you see, once he figured out that she wanted to use this mistletoe arc to her own terrible advantage), jumping down from a rooftop with his bokutou aimed right at the mistletoe. ]

OR that's what it actually is. After stumbling backward out of the mistletoe spell, and opening her eyes to find an angry Gintoki instead of a pretty ninja, her mood and demeanor do a total turn around. The shy, rosy cheeked little girl is gone, and all that's left is a seething rage machine, grabbing Gintoki by the collar. ]
