[It's rather evident by the way that she greets him that things were ... eventful in some way. He frowns wryly.]

Does it? You returned just in time for an experiment.

Really? What is it this time? Not those little, uh, elf things again, right?

[The next step of doom is that she sits down in a chair. Being under one piece of ceiling for too long is more dangerous than she knows.]

Fortunately not. You may remember the mistletoe incident -- they seem to be in abundance this time around.

[He watches Sheena take a seat, turning away to set down a towel he was still carrying around.]

Don't tell me you returned and immediately came back here instead of resting.

[corrinesbell]

Okay, I won't tell you.

[She stopped at the house first, for a change of clothes.]

Mistletoe, again? Great, now they're annoying and uncreative at the same time. [Nevertheless, she glances upward, just to be sure. Nothing there...]

[The non-answer is met with little more than a shake of the head, but he's ... not really surprised at this point. This was hardly the first time Sheena had pushed herself for no immediately apparent reason.

While he had checked over the shop earlier, the mistletoe had a terrible habit of reappearing. He follows Sheena's glance upward even as he speaks again.]

There seems to be an additional element this time. I'm not sure what to make of it, but they are keeping track of our encounters with the mistletoe.

Keeping track? [She looks over both shoulders, suddenly far more on guard than the tea shop ever warrants.] How? Are they here now?

Do you have your journal on you?

[It's more a rhetorical question than anything; most people still carried the journals around, despite them acting almost like secondary tracking devices for the Organization. Albert pulls out his own journal, showing the cover to Sheena to show the few tally marks there -- and the negative sign in front of it.]

They appear to be counting what we're doing.

[Looking at his journal is easier and fast and she doesn't have to stand up in order to do it.]

...What'd you do wrong? That says minus.

[chikaidestroyer]

[He sighs a little at her expression.]

Don't look so amused when you ask. I suppose it's because I moved the mistletoe or outright destroyed it a few times.

[corrinesbell]

But I am amused. I figured maybe you just refused to kiss three people.

[chikaidestroyer]

[The sad thing about her idea was that it wasn't all that farfetched.]

You make it sound like I am adverse to kissing.

[corrinesbell]

You make it sound like you're not. [Sheena's kissed him before. More than once, even, but most recently the time they were casually dating thanks to an experiment. It's not so bad.]

[chikaidestroyer]

I'll have you know that I am perfectly willing to kiss under the right circumstances.

[Those circumstances were far and few in between though, with just how reserved he was.]

[corrinesbell]

Yeah? What're the circumstances? Other than knifepoint or something, and I'm not sure somebody with a knife could convince you, actually. They might get scared and run away.

[She waves a hand - distantly imitating dear Jack - and laughs a bit, hearing her exhaustion talking.]
