Rating: Varied. Anything frisky goes to appointments as per usual, chums.


Due to the size and variation of this event, it's probably best to have several logs for it to avoid one getting overcrowded and broken. Feel free to have your characters post their own entries, of course, if you'd prefer- you're more than welcome! This is for people who like to consolidate. Another log ought to be posted around the 16th for round 2.

Day...3!

[Cliff needed to find someone unshifted, someone who knew him and, above all else, someone who had working hands. While this go-around had left Cliff's mind intact, there were other factors involved that were causing him some very hairy problems. Like not having hands, or even being able to talk.



...at least he still had his good looks, but it was a small consolation for the fact that only one person, who was in a similar plight, had recognized him.

That was why, when Cliff caught sight of Peony in the plaza that afternoon, he charged the man at top speed. Finally, he thought, an animal lover.

One with whom he had a mutual friend, too. This was his key to fixing his problem!]

[Jade was neutral towards most animals. Only the rappigs had truly earned his ire as a backlash against Peony's love for them. He didn't quite appreciate animals who invaded his personal space, but he knew that Peony thought the opposite. So, as he spotted the dog bounding towards him, Jade kneeled over and spread his arms out, ready to try and catch the dog.]

Here, boy! [He barks a laugh.] Come on over!

[Whoa-- careful there, Peony! This is a dog that's as tall as an adult when standing on his hind legs, and weighs as much as one too! Cliff slowed down just enough to avoid barreling over the man when he closed the distance between them, and instead turned around him in a tight circle. With his tail high in the air and wagging at top speed, Cliff stomped his front paws and barked in greeting.

'Hey,' he wanted to say. Dog sounds were a horrible substitute for regular speech.]

[That really is a big dog. He wasn't afraid of the dog barreling over him, though; it would have been a good chance to test Peony's physical strength, which could be a useful factor to consider in the event of a draft.

Oh well. He watches the dog circle him curiously, making his own bark of laughter to mimic Peony's behavior.]

Yo. You're a lively one, aren't you? Here to make friends?

[He was a dog large enough for an intrepid soul to ride into combat, should they please. Cliff would have even allowed it, once he was certain about what the teeth and claws in this new body of his were capable of.

Another bark, and Cliff started bodily pushing against Peony in an attempt to make the man move. He wanted to take the emperor somewhere.]
