Who: Uruki
the_wind_woman and Takiko
waterfallchild
What: A date
When: Monday, around lunchtime, definitely before Tomite's intro post.
Where: The western lake
Summary: The happy couple needs some time alone to talk and...stuff.
Rating: PG, these two aren't quite up to higher ratings yet.
True, Hikitsu arriving had been a great thing, but he did miss the fact that he pretty much had Takiko to himself (well, annoying now former housemate aside). It was still a bit strange to him to be around her and that they weren't being attacked by armies and assassins. Truly, he'd gone a whole month without some serious injury, that in and of itself was a feat. Still, it wasn't perfect here, but he was definitely going to do what he could to ensure she fell in love with him again.
So he realized, some time alone with little to no chance for interruptions, or chances for anyone to get hurt would do them a lot of good. And he wanted to surprise her, and he wanted to pick a place that just felt right.
He'd made the arrangements for them to have a nice romantic meal out by the lake, that would be a perfect setting. So first he set things up for a nice romantic picnic. He got some food from the restaurant, since his cooking would give away his plans right away. He also picked up a few things from the bakery, and of course set out a blanket for them.
Once things were ready, he went back to the house to find Takiko. He just hoped no one disturbed his preparations while he was bringing her here.

"You aren't to blame. We can still do something special for you even if it's late." He set down his food at this point to be able to listen to her more intently.
Her next words though were quite surprising. True, he knew he would happen again in time, but not nearly this fast. He couldn't help but smile back, he knew it was a hard thing to say, it had been hard for him to say it the first time too. He squeezed her hands. "And I love you." And then he pulled her closer to him so he could kiss her.

It had been difficult to say. Her cheeks were pink, and she was looking rather shyly over at him. Words like those, feelings like those changed things entirely. It was as if her world had shifted on its axis, and here he was again, telling her he loved her. Breathing in a quick inhale of air to steady herself, she smiled at him.
When he kissed her, this time unlike the others she tilted her face, closed her eyes and returned it fully. The feelings were there behind the gesture for her fully and it made this all the nicer.
