Summary: Here is the post describing the event!

At the door there stands a droid; he's wearing a very snazzy tux, and collecting the invitations. If you don't have an invitation, don't worry!

Just get the hell in that room. Thank you.

The ballroom is enormous, more than enough to accommodate you and your fellow captives. The lighting is overall somewhat dim to set the atmosphere; there are tables bunched together at one end of the room, and a rather large dance floor at the other (complete with lights, strobe and spotlight, and a DJ-droid in a sequined suit and sporting a hangman's noose around his neck). To the side, lengthy tables loaded with all sorts of partyriffic snacks and drinks. And of course, droids milling about in the same sharp suits the one at the door was clad in, all with little spooky variations to add festivity -an arrow through the head, Frankenstein bolts through the neck, vampire fangs, etc- as they seem to be setting chairs, cleaning up used plates and cups, and generally stopping anyone from sneaking out the windows or doors.

It can be noted, however, that the droids are terribly outnumbered.

You can join in the festivities; take a seat and wait for a friend or a date, have a snack or try to escape. Just make sure to make the night memorable.

Because there is something lurking outside...and if you leave to investigate, you might not come back.

"They eat souls? Oh, man, that's not cool. Milk and honey are way better than that! Can't you stop them from eating those souls?"

Sonic shook his head, not wanting her to worry. "Yeah, it happened when I got kidnapped the first time. They did it, and they brought me back. But it was months ago, and it's okay now! Hehe, livin' off of stuff like ice cream too isn't so bad after a while."

"I don't know...And I don't really need to have milk and honey. The only thing I really need is sunlight."

Hearing 'kidnapped' though makes her worry! "They did that?! That's so mean!"

"Just sunlight? Really? Wow, that sounds like the total opposite of things like vampires or demons!" But he stopped to think for a moment. "Hey, but what happens at night time then? There's no sunlight then! Will you be okay?"

Sonic laughed softly, trying to reassure her. "Yeah, I know, it really was mean! But nothin' really to worry about since I'm here now!"

"It is the opposite of demons!" She smiles at that last part. "Oh, yes! I just turn small then!"

She nods at that. "Yes...that's true.

Sonic cocked his head at her, a little curious as to what she meant. He had never heard of anything like that before. "... Small? Wait, what?"

"Yeah, I'm okay! I can probably get it taken care of and reversed soon enough!"

"Uhm...showing you would be the easiest way to explain it."

That makes her smile. "I hope you can!"

"Show me?" Sonic took a quick look outside. It was going to get dark soon enough. "This happens every night then?"

"I hope so too! Thanks!"

"Yes, every night!" She just smiles. She's very used to it by now, so it doesn't bother her in the least.

"You're welcome!"

Sonic shouldn't have been so surprised at the answer since she had indeed replied that she did need sunlight, but it was perhaps how frequent it happened that surprised him.

"Whoa, every night! But when you wake up in the morning, you get to normal again! ... That is, if it's not too cloudy out or raining? Or are you still okay even if it's not so sunny out?"

"I wake up, and the sunlight helps me go back to this form. Though I can live without sunlight, I get really tired if it's cloudy or rainy for too long."

"If you get too tired, you go back to bein' small then? Or just tired in this form too?"

Sonic pondered it, wondering what it must have been like for her. "Hey, did your Heaven have sunlight all the time, or was it like normal with night and day?"

"I can if I want! I usually do just stay small when it's not sunny out, so I don't waste too much energy."

She actually has to think about that...she really has been here too long. "Normal with night and day! The plants wouldn't like it if it was sunlight all the time!"

"Hm, now I really wonder how small! Cuz isn't it hard to travel around or get anywhere if you're too small? Or what if you wanted to pick something up like your journal!"

Sonic noted her pause, but he didn't mind. "Cool, I could see that! That way you could used to it when you went to Earth too."

"It's not too small...I can still get around pretty easily!" Yep, she's really starting to think it's easier to just show him..

"Oh, yes! I never thought about it like that!"

"If it's not that small, then that's okay! I was gettin' worried for a sec, thinkin' you'd be way small and get blown away by the wind or somethin'!" Sonic smiled, relieved that she seemed to be fine with either form she was in.

"Oh, man, what about the demons though? They wouldn't hurt you when you were small, would they?"

"No, the wind doesn't bother me!"

She frowns at that. "One does...he likes picking on me..even when he's small."

"That's good, I wouldn't want somethin' bad happening to you if you didn't have enough energy."

"Wait, the demons get small too?" He had to laugh at that! "What makes them small?"

"Nothing would! And Patchouli gave me a necklace that acts like the sun, so I haven't had much trouble on cloudy days lately!" Sadly, she's not wearing it at the moment, because she's always afraid she might hurt it somehow.

"The sun. They are the opposite of angels."

"Oh! Hey, glad to hear it! I just know that if it gets to be winter here, there's gonna be less sunny days, but if you got help, then that's great!"

Sonic laughed again. "Figures it'd be that easy! Maybe you should make 'em wear something like that necklace all the time!"

"I've never seen a winter...there's less sunny days then?"

That earns a giggle. "I don't know if that would work, but it's worth a try!"

"Well, back home, winters are when it gets cold and there's more rain and even snow! Winter's when the days get shorter too, so you'll hafta be careful for that too!"

He liked that giggle, and was glad she was feeling better. "Yeah, so they'd be small all the time! Way easier to deal with, heh! Aw, none of your other angel friends helped keep 'em away too?"

"They get shorter?? Oh, that's not good!"

Yes, she's completely forgotten about her awkward dress by now. "No, since I was the only one on Earth.."

"They do, but it shouldn't be that bad, it should only be darker for a little longer than normal. I guess it's gotta be fair since during the spring and stuff, the days are longer!"

"Aw, no wonder," Sonic answered, his ears folding outward a bit. "I thought they'd at least come to visit or somethin' once in a while!"

"I guess so...but I don't think the plants would like that change very much.."

"Angels can only go to Earth when they are told to by God..and I was only supposed to be there for a couple of days."

Sonic laughed. Kohaku really did care for plants and all living beings like an angel would and should. "Yeah, but I think they're used to it! They'll be all right. You can help take care of 'em too!"

He paused, thinking. "A couple of days? From what you told me, it sounds like you stayed for a lot longer than that!"
