Who: Everyone!
What: A dance. :|
When: October 31st-November 1st
Where: The hotel ballroom in LucetiLand.
Summary: Here is the post describing the event!
Rating: Uhhh anywhere from G-R.

At the door there stands a droid; he's wearing a very snazzy tux, and collecting the invitations. If you don't have an invitation, don't worry!

Just get the hell in that room. Thank you.

The ballroom is enormous, more than enough to accommodate you and your fellow captives. The lighting is overall somewhat dim to set the atmosphere; there are tables bunched together at one end of the room, and a rather large dance floor at the other (complete with lights, strobe and spotlight, and a DJ-droid in a sequined suit and sporting a hangman's noose around his neck). To the side, lengthy tables loaded with all sorts of partyriffic snacks and drinks. And of course, droids milling about in the same sharp suits the one at the door was clad in, all with little spooky variations to add festivity -an arrow through the head, Frankenstein bolts through the neck, vampire fangs, etc- as they seem to be setting chairs, cleaning up used plates and cups, and generally stopping anyone from sneaking out the windows or doors.

It can be noted, however, that the droids are terribly outnumbered.

You can join in the festivities; take a seat and wait for a friend or a date, have a snack or try to escape. Just make sure to make the night memorable.

Because there is something lurking outside...and if you leave to investigate, you might not come back.

Regal shook his head with a slight chuckle. "I'm sure there are still plenty of people who would have refused to select a costume regardless," he said, amused. "In fact, I am surprised that we did not have an outright riot on our hands, knowing some of the residents. I can't imagine they took well to being forced to wear anything."

"If there had been one, it would've been contained."

And because you can't talk to Kratos without hearing some sort of battle tip, he looked up at the people again and remarked, "Know one's enemy. If we cannot fight against those machines as we are being kidnapped, I doubt we could fight against them for something as simple as forcing us into outfits we despise."

"True, they are far stronger than they appear. But I'm certain there are many people who are not aware that these are the same sort of droids that carry out the kidnappings, and those who know yet would choose to fight regardless." Regal didn't look too bothered by this situation at all. The droids weren't acting hostile at the moment beyond the forcing-into-costumes, a far cry from their typical behavior. As long as things stayed like this, he saw no reason to be concerned.

Of course, Kratos was bothered. Who knew if the droids would snap into action after this party ended and decided to bring the lot of them to the sacrificial temple? For all they knew, they were being herded inside a trap. It's why Kratos remained alert, unable to relax. He almost felt like the only one who still held suspicions about this place.

"Yes..." Was all he could really think of to reply with before he took another sip of the wine. Regal was right - conversation was not Kratos' forte.
