Who: Everyone!
What: A dance. :|
When: October 31st-November 1st
Where: The hotel ballroom in LucetiLand.
Summary: Here is the post describing the event!
Rating: Uhhh anywhere from G-R.

At the door there stands a droid; he's wearing a very snazzy tux, and collecting the invitations. If you don't have an invitation, don't worry!

Just get the hell in that room. Thank you.

The ballroom is enormous, more than enough to accommodate you and your fellow captives. The lighting is overall somewhat dim to set the atmosphere; there are tables bunched together at one end of the room, and a rather large dance floor at the other (complete with lights, strobe and spotlight, and a DJ-droid in a sequined suit and sporting a hangman's noose around his neck). To the side, lengthy tables loaded with all sorts of partyriffic snacks and drinks. And of course, droids milling about in the same sharp suits the one at the door was clad in, all with little spooky variations to add festivity -an arrow through the head, Frankenstein bolts through the neck, vampire fangs, etc- as they seem to be setting chairs, cleaning up used plates and cups, and generally stopping anyone from sneaking out the windows or doors.

It can be noted, however, that the droids are terribly outnumbered.

You can join in the festivities; take a seat and wait for a friend or a date, have a snack or try to escape. Just make sure to make the night memorable.

Because there is something lurking outside...and if you leave to investigate, you might not come back.

"You never go to the disco? Good place for happy, snappy good time, yah. You dress up too?"

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2009-11-03 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
"A disco? No, I haven't really been to one."

Jay looks down at his outfit.

"Well, this is just a formal outfit. Nothing real major. But everyone is being forced to dress up in here. Whoever doesn't have a costume, the droids force them into one."

Droids? There was a new and unfamiliar vocabulary word.

"Droids tasty to eat? Me not sure how good a party dis is without refreshments."

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2009-11-03 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
"Um...the refreshments are over there." Jay pointed across the room to the refreshment table.

And then he pointed to the various droids working in the room. "Do you see those robot things? Those are droids. ...But why would you want to eat them?

"Me didn't see big table of food!!!"

There was a long pause and Cookie Monster slowly seemed to edge over, as if being pulled by a large magnet.

"Beg your pardon, one minute please."

Jay continued to look puzzled as he reluctantly followed the disco monster.

"Wh...what?"

[identity profile] omm-nomnom.livejournal.com 2009-11-03 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
"Me getting partyriffic snacks! Me spend so long finding costume dat me get so hungry!!"

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2009-11-03 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
"That costume makes you hungry? Why do I get the feeling that you eat other things besides food?"

Jay just had to ask the question, as the Cookie Monster had expressed an interest in eating the droids just a moment ago...

Cookie Monster turned around to look back at Jay, guiltily gnawing on one of the feathers from his headdress.

"What dat you say? Me was distracted."

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2009-11-03 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
"I was saying...you eat more than just food, don't you?"

Jay suspected so, as Cookie Monster was apparently eating a feather.

[identity profile] omm-nomnom.livejournal.com 2009-11-03 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
"Me not picky eater! Me very open minded," he hastily returned the feather to its rightful place and wiped his mouth.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2009-11-03 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
"It's one thing to be open minded, but some things just aren't meant to be eaten."

Jay paused for a brief moment as another question came to mind. "Um...do you eat people?"
